Just recently returned from le touessrok We can recommend a 5 star arrival to the hotels helipad. In general we had a fabulous holiday. Being pre warned about drinks prices we took white spirit provisions. The Hotel staff were exellent, nothing too much trouble .The Golf club impressed but watch out for locals wandering onto the course taking golf balls. We... more

My wife and I recently spent our honeymoon in Mauritius at Le Touessrok and had really high hopes of a wonderful time due to the great reviews of the property and recommendations from friends who had stayed there before. Before I start, I must say that this resort is in a wonderful location and is gorgeous, the staff are on... more

It is with great concern that I read the review of this stay at Le Touessrok. At Le Touessrok we take Health and Safety very serious and are amongst only two hotels in Mauritius which have received the ISO 22,000:2005 certification in July 2007, which is the highest standard with regards to Food Safety Management Systems. This certification also ensures...

We went to Mauritius and stayed at the Le Touessrok Sept 1st to 15th Sept 2008. Our room was in the Coral wing, Deluxe room number 122. We went for our daughters wedding which was held on the Golf course on Ile aux Cerfs. The Staff are absolutely fantastic with nothing too much trouble for them. The view from our... more

We have just returned from almost 2 weeks at the magnificent Le Touessrok. On arrival it becomes clear that the service is going to be something special. No need to go to reception as we were seated in the openair living room and brought cold face towels and a cocktail, where we met the general manager and then were taken... more

Loved it, loved it, loved it! Just spent 10 days there for our honeymoon. They treated us so well, we got a bottle of champagne and a free meal in Barlens and Safran, both of which are great at dinner time.....definitely recommend them both. The buffet restaurant 398 is great, lots of choice of food,....special shout out to the chefs... more

This is indeed paradise.Great place with a varied array of activities and even one private island...We spent our honeymoon with such out of this world service and dedicated staff that it was really impossible to forget. Safran is one of the best indian restaurant one can even imagine...Open kitchen with a personal touch of professional service and classical food. Our... more

Le Touessrok needs to make its mind up as to what it's about. It has a fantastic setting - even its own private island! - and superb staff that GENUINELY care about you, whether in the restaurants, cleaning the rooms or on the beaches. You can't fault any of these things and, yes, it's not cheap but if you are... more

We went to Le Touessrok as we were looking for a beach destination following a Safari in South Africa. Having been to "posher" Maldives, Seychelles, Polynesia etc, we were afraid to be surrounded by honeymooners in a crowded old style palace. This was clearly not the case.. First the setting of the hotel is Amazing, the Ilot Mangenie opposite the... more

We have just returned from 7 nights at the Touessrok with two of our children (22 and 20), and had lovely time, in spite of the weather being somewhat inclement. The Hotel and grounds are beautiful, our Frangipani Junior Suites very spacious and comfortable and nicely furnished with lovely views, and the bathroom stunning. The staff are friendly and helpful,... more

The place is wonderful, no questioning that fact. The service is excellent (extremely thoughtful waiters and cleaning staff). However, everything is insultingly expensive. Paying 21,50euros for a plain plate of fetuccine bolognaise, 4 euros for a diet coke and 3euros for a coffee is clearly saying to the client "you're a golden goose and I'm going to get as much... more
