While only a one-night stay, I enjoyed the tranquil and intimate setting of Le Sakoa. A nice departure from the large resort-style properties that are prevalent on on the island. The rooms are all tastefully and creatively decorated, and offer lots of space, both inside and on the outdoor patios. I would recommend staying in one of the beach view... More

Its really a nice place for honeymooners and family.Nice service and the food is excellent. The chef is very professional. The beaches is excellent, sandy and crystal clear sea water. No need to go to different places for snorckeling, just after a few meters from the beaches you have nice place. you a have also many facilities around, and the famous beach... More

A group of 7 of us (tourists & locals) visited the Sakoa restaurant for Saturday lunch and were very disappointed. Although the setting is beautiful, the staff were surly and unhelpful and the food was poor. The youngest member of the group ordered pizza which did not arrive until we had all received and finished eating our main courses, despite... More

We stayed 8 nights in this hotel. It has only 16 rooms which makes it very comfortable. The room was big including even a little kitchen. We booked halfboard which is very recommendable. The food was always fresh and very delicious. The hotel has its own beach with one beach chair for every guest. It was great lying at the... More

First visit and absolutely loved it. Ideal for the two of us, but would also be great for a young family. Like all resorts, accomodation near the water's edge/sea-view would be ideal, but all rooms more than satisfactory. If you want the big glitz of the big hotels, this is not for you. Personal, classy & you really feel as... More

We stayed here for the second time in 2013, this stay was for 6 nights. We like the size of the hotel, rooms, kitchen facilities and position next to the beach. Staff were helpful and assisted promptly when we asked for anything. We ate 3 nights in the restaurant and twice on the set menu (which has to be booked... More

This is a lovely little hotel with beautiful gardens right on the beach - you literally take ten steps from your room and you're on the beach. We were there in off-season, so it may differ in Summer, but it was quiet and peaceful with no noisy entertainment at meals. The linen is slightly old and the wifi is not... More

We had a wonderful stay at Le Sakoa, where both the rooms, the beach and the staff made the experience one to remember. With not many rooms, the hotel has a very low key feeling to it, but you still get all the aminities that you would expect of a much larger and more expensive complex. The beach is simply... More

In comparison to the huge hotel complexes that are all over Mauritius this hotel is a small, friendly and frankly just lovely. The pool may be only slightly larger than a bath but it's still pretty and the hotel opens right onto the sea....fab!

if you do not like large hotel complexes, this hotel is ideal for you. Wonderful accommodation, great location, friendly staff ... everything is within reach, market, organized excursions by boat (diving ...), rent a car or motorcycle, even a bus stop ... All that you can a bit more authentically discover the country. You will not forget this holliday..
