We visited Mauritius 2 weeks ago for our honeymoon and stayed at Legends. As you have probably worked out from the other reviews the place is heaven on earth. The staff are friendly, food out of this world and you literally can't lift a finger yourself. I'm not going to repeat what the other people have wrote but thought some... more

I chose Legends Hotel following reviews on trip adviser. The resort is difficult to describe as it is perfect paradise, what the brochure says and more. The all inclusive package is truly fantastic, it includes spa treatments, fantastics trips to a private island and also swimming with wild dolphins, numerious watersports, fabulous restaurants to eat in every night, branded drinks,... more

Please, please, please heed the advice of everyone who's written previously and pay up for All Inclusive (AI). If you can't afford it, then you certainly won't be able to afford half-board (unless you don't eat lunches and don't drink any liquids at all for your time at Legends). The prices are incredibly high for all liquids (3.50 euro for... more

Spent over a week at Legends and loved it. Everything was as expected and more. The sea quality and beach was a bit of a let down but having seen reviews on TA I knew what to expect. The fact that most watersports were free more than made up for it. We deliberated over paying to go all inc. (quoted... more

Reading all the reviews on here, I can't add much. This was our 3rd visit to Mauritius. We chose Legends because of the tripadvisor reviews and we weren't disappointed! I thought I would just put a few of our thoughts down, which may help fellow travellers: We mistakenly didn't pay for a private transfer. We know how slow the traffic... more

I found Legends slightly disappointing (only slightly!). I think I was expecting the setting to be something a little more Paradise like (white sand and clear blue sea). I have to say I wasn’t that impressed with the beach(es) at the hotel, which I think are man made, or the sea, which was a bit murky unless you go a... more

If your budget is £250 a night the Jacuzzi Junior Suite is worth every penny, If your budget is £200 a night dont stay in the standard room pay the extra for the junior suite. I would recommend this hotel and I think it is good value. I am no fan of half board or over the top dress codes... more

Ok so I know I am just repeating what just about every other person is saying on here but Legends is absolutely amazing. We got back yesterday from our honeymoon and we had the most fantastic time. We had a junior suite over looking a stunning bay which has beautiful calm turquoise waters. The service was out of this world,... more
