I stayed on my own and found it awkward staff ignored me, the food was awful and not worth eating. The so called private beach is small and getting a towel is controlled. The management don't care even when you complain to them. They charge too much for extras and it all adds up. It is noisy with planes passing... More

we stayed towards the end of November to early December and did not like it. It was nr to the airport so planes past all hours. Their service was poor with staff ignoring you at meal times. The meals were also poor quality. Towels for beach and pool inky available at certain times of day. The gym small and smelled... More

The hotel is one of the worst I've stayed in. The service is appalling- staff are indifferent don't always say hello and give you attention if you're White and blonde- some staff are friendly but an exception. The tour advisor is really bad she had the brochures under her desk - asking seemed an imposition. Tours are a rip off... More

We (the good lady and I) spent a very relaxing and most pleasant three weeks at the Blue Lagoon in September. The occasion was for our wedding anniversary, and for the evening meal, the hotel and all the staff went a long way to making it very special for us, and memorable. (I thanked the Manager and Staff at the... More

Despite being near the airport this part of the island is not touristy, you can easily go out and mix with the locals and see the real life of Mauritius. The hotel was very clean with clean towels and sheets every day. The food was always very good with plenty of choice and the chef was always available and ready... More

We arrived, it is conveniently close to the airport and in a quit bay, BLUE BAY. It is clean, smells good, has character, very friendly staff. I tried out the SPA, was disappointed, they rush you in and out, definitely do it in the required time and with no feedback on the treatment. Room was beautiful, nice touches, comfortable, we... Arrived about 7.30pm. Saw the funny side of the transfer from the airport, having to get the luggage in and out of the coach window. Luckily, our husbands are strong and could help others! We had a standard room which was very good,a hot shower always.A/C,Flatscreen TV,(only BBC news really in English) a fridge, clean sheets/towels every day,a nice balcony, plus phone, which is handy...
