Our first visit was with Thomas Cook - Oct 08. and the second visit was 10 weeks later, again with Thomas Cook - Jan 09. Our third will be August 2009. What a fantastic find! We have never been so spoilt on a holiday and have recommended this resort to everyone. We even met people who were on their 13th... more

There hasn't been a lot of hotels I've been to where I have come away wishing I didn't have to leave. The Flamenco, without question is the best beach hotel I have stayed in, in terms of an all round service. I had never been to Egypt before and I have to admit I was a bit apprehensive about going... more

Flamenco hotel review All in all, a well maintained hotel in a relaxing location, away from the hustle and bustle in Marsa Alaam and Hurghada. Depending on the number of stops the coach makes for other hotels along the way, the transfer time from the airport is around 1-1.5 hours from the Marsa Alaam International Airport. Its closest town is... more

Spent a glorious relaxing week here Not a lot to do but chill with a good book and snorkel on fantastic house reef reached by long jetty. Excellent a la carte restaurant, headed up by Food and Beverage Manager, Mr Gian Luechinger and his excellent staff. Highly recommended- Lobster thermidor well worth the price! Buffet restaurant for meals provided a... more

Very friendly staff, very clean; bit rundown rooms. Very, very nice snorkeling/diving possibilities. Al-Quseir wasn't worth going: very dirty and unaccomodating indeed, poor impression. If you go there to buy drinking water (which is completely acceptable by the staff and much, much cheaper than in the hotel), do bargain! Beach (at the hotel and at a nearby (5 min by... more

I'd been to Eqypt before (Taba in 2006, totally brilliant!) but as always I was a little nervous (being a solo female traveller in my late 20's) but I needn't have worried. The staff were lovely and helpful and the hotel was great. Food is the typical, well done buffet / BBQ fayre but the drinks (both alcoholic and non)... more

Only come here if you want to relax in peace and quiet - it is in the middle of nowhere! The transfer is an hour, there is not much to do - which was fine with my sister and I. Our room was lovely - laying in my bed - I coould see two palm trees framing the sea! The... more

stayed here for 7 days the last week in March - blue skies and wall to wall sunshine- what a great break. The Hotel is about 1 1/2 hours transfer from the airport. We had read the reviews previously so there was no real surprises. Food at Hotel - lovely choice of salads with pasta station and roast meat as... more

We spent 2 weeks at Flamenco Beach Resort Hotel and found it did what it said on the tin. It confirms most of the reviews I read and I can recommend it even though we had a problem with hot water the action to fix it was quick and because they couldn't we had a change of room to one... more
