I wish we had read the reviews on this place before making a reservation. Tenting on Labor Day weekend in a tent $58.00/night... really what a rip off. The campsites are very, very tight, like you can reach out and touch the camper next to you. 1/2 are on the road, like within feet of route 10. The bathrooms are nasty,... More

This place looks like a campground with junk all over . Sites are real close and picnic table are made out of rotten wood. Road is right next to the camp sites. Office is friendly But place need a lot of work . Bathroom need lots of work!

Where to start? Started with a big messup with the reservations. Used their on-line service (RVOnTheGo) and bottom line, reservation was never made. At the end of the day, they still accomodated us but the bad experience had started. Didn't get the site we originally reserved. We were given a site next to a group of people that were obnoxiously... More

We stayed at this campground for the second year going to Americade at Lake George. We camped with a tent and a popup camper. Not a bad location being close to the interstate and only 14 miles from the village. The sites are very good sized compared to many campgrounds. The grounds were clean and very uncrowded. The other complaints... More

We had stayed here years ago and enjoyed but it has been a long time, likewise with the upkeep of the faci Ity. We booked for Memorial Day weekend and it was obvious they were not ready. Cable was not operating, and although they did get it operating on Saturday, there were only about 12 channels. Only one of the... More

I was surprised to see all the bad reviews. We camped there on advice from a friend on the closing weekend last year. (9/29-10/2) The pool was already closed for the season so I can't comment on that. We have a pop up and camped by the river. The mosquitoes were awful and there was a lot of truck noise... More

My family and I paid $350.00 to stay 4 nights at the Lake George Schroon Valley Resort on the 4th of July weekend. I would not have minded paying that much if the place was even a little okay, but it wasn't it was HORRIBLE. At one point none of the toilets were in working order and none of the... More

My husband and I camped in Lake George while he was on a business trip. I had looked all over to find a campground that had wifi that he could use while in the camper. Website said all sites have wifi, well NONE had wifi and cable wasn't working either. We couldn't figure out why we were the ONLY campers... More

We went up for Memorial Day weekend 2011. First of all we like to camp, not move into a trailer park. This is NOT a camp ground it is an RV park. Very close to the other sites and pretty much no trees on most sites we saw. We reserved a particular site and when we got there they said... More

I agree with the other poster. I have been camping at this camping since I served on active duty in the Navy going back to 2002. The family and I thoroughly enjoyed the campground and Dave and Noe were the perfect owners (even received Christmas Cards from them). When Dave decided to sell the campground and Encore took over managing... More
