While visiting the Lake George area, we stayed with our hosts Louise and Doug at their lovely B&B. The home was beautifully decorated with period pieces and our room was cozy and comfortable. Louise offered a different dessert every day that was set out to be eaten any time. The 5 course breakfasts were delightful, featuring sweet and savory choices.... More

Be prepared for a five course breakfast. No joke, there are truly 5 courses. No need to eat lunch when you stay at this very special inn in the center of town. Immaculate period Victorian antiques are combined with modern amenities in the rooms. The grounds are spectacular, with beautiful gardens and stunningly painted exterior. The only drawback here is... On a recent trip with my 85 year Mother (my second review from this trip), we stayed at the Cornerstone Victorian B&B, it was so lovely, I cannot say enough about the wonderful couple that own it, Louise and Doug are absolutely the best people. The 5 course breakfast is outstanding and prepared with such love. Our room was amazing,... More

We enjoyed our 1st weekend without kids at Cornerstone. Doug & Louise made us feel at home. The rooms are gorgeous & the breakfast - wow! Louise is a true culinary genius. Doug's wit and his smile are memorable. The house is on Main St USA. It is humongous. We arrived after hours and our room (the Victorian suite) was... More

I stayed here about 3 years ago, and I still think very fondly of this establishment. The couple who run the place are just wonderful, their breakfast to die for, and their late night desert delectable. The room was beautifully appointed, private and the bathtub spacious. Not a far drive from Canada St and the Lake George waterfront. Cornerstone was... More

If there was a reality TV program to choose the best B&B breakfast, I'm sure Louise would be a finalist. Copious, but more important, delicious, prepared with love and imagination and culinary skill. Let's see if I remember. Coffee or tea. Cranberry or orange juice. Fresh fruit. Freshly-baked pastry. A small savory course. Granola or muesli. Main dish - always... More

Unbelievable 5 course breakfasts and afternoon deserts make this B&B a true gem of the Lake George, Adirondack region. The home is a beautiful Victorian with gorgeous rooms and furnishings. Our stay has been split between two rooms, the Garden and the Eastlake. The smaller room, the Garden room, is beautifully appointed, and the bed amazingly comfortable. This room is worth more than it goes for. There were bottles of water, chocolate mints, beautiful glasses to drink from, and there is even an extra heater in case the radiator isn't... More

We stayed for 2 nights for a ski trip. We wished we could stay longer. The house is lovely. The room is beautifully decorated and furnished. Doug and Louise made us feel we are part of their family. The 5 course breakfast is gourmet! After a day out in the mountain, cannot find a better ending than coming 'home' to... More

We stayed here for a family ski weekend. Gorgeous old home, 4 poster beds, immaculate rooms, beautifully decorated. Doug and Louise treated our family like family. So nice sitting in front of a cozy fire at night. The breakfasts and desserts in the evening are amazing. 5 courses a little much for me. I even told Louise, 3 would still... More
