It was great to be able to take my pets with me AND have all the amenities of a HOTEL :) Breakfast was W.O.N.D.E.R.F.U.L and accomodating for everyone It was especially helpful that the private entrance to the suite was easy to walk into for my 16 yr old doggie.

It's hard to find anything critical to say of Audrey's. Doug and Sally are extremely welcoming hosts, the property is first-rate, and the type of guests they attract make for a nice opportunity to socialize. (If you didn't want to socialize with others from time to time, such as during breakfasts, you probably wouldn't be vacationing at a B&B in... More

Beautiful authentic farmhouse. We felt very welcome with our new Irish Red and White Setter puppy, Milo. Great property for him to play, explore and relax. The suite turned out to be a good choice, and it included a huge private bathroom with shower and deep claw-foot tub. Proprietor, Doug, who recently acquired the property, could not have been a... My husband, miniature schnauzer and I wanted to get away from the busy city living for a weekend. I went online looking for a charming B&B not too far from NY City and one that was pet friendly (really pet friendly, not one where you had to keep your dog on a leash and they were allowed only in certain... We just spent a great weekend at Audrey's Farmhouse. Doug and Sally, the new proprietors and have updated the decor but kept the friendly charm. We love, love, love that you can bring your dog and still have chic style. Doug's breakfasts were over-sized and delicious. There were always home-baked treats available and Doug even served impromptu mimosas on a... More

We've been here many times. Just under 2 hours from NYC/Nassau County. Beautiful grounds, dog friendly, rustic accommodations, wonderful breakfasts. Very close to everything you want ie New Paltz, Mohonk, wonderful restaurants, etc. Although we have no pup there are guests with all kinds and sizes of very well behaved canines. Very cool. Never had a problem with the four... More

Audrey & Don were very kind and generous hosts. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and at home. Our dog, Mocha, felt at home and was spoilt by being allowed on the couch next to the cozy fireplace. Restaurants are nearby and hiking in the area was great for all of us. If you enjoy warm, cozy, good... More

I live 3 minutes from there, but out 4 bedroom house just is too small for my wife, my sister, 4 large dogs and me when my daughters and their families and dog come to visit as they did last weekend. The weekend before Christmas, my wife gave everybody tickets to ride the Polar Express in Kingston, NY. Both my... More

We arrived at Audrey's for a long Thanksgiving holiday and weekend with four members of our extended family, (all with dogs), in the ice and snow that recently fell in the Northeast (approximately 6-8"). As mentioned in the reviews below, this is a lovely area of NY State, and the farmhouse was quaint and welcoming when we arrived with a... More

Inside an old farmhouse in a sparsely populated area, you'll find the warm hospitality of Emma (who is onsite during the day) who ensures all guests are making the most of the Walkill and environs area. She had fabulous (and guest appropriate) recommendations for our hiking and dining out. Emma exudes happiness (as do Don and Audrey). After a very... More
