We stayed at the Tin Brook just last evening. We arrived at 4:00 which was our arranged time and were met by David. We were in the area to see our granddaughter perform in her 5th grade class play. As we were signing in David explained that there would be a problem with breakfast in the morning and would we... More

I just spent 3 pleasant nights in the "Pumpkin Patch! " Dave is a great host and ever so helpful answering questions about the area. I was attending an event at very nearby Temple - it's very convenient. If I'm traveling that way again, I will be sure to return to this charming B+B. -N. See.

Everything was comfortable, and the room had good privacy. Staff was helpful. Only minor complaint was that the breakfast was a bit sparse. Despite that, I'll award 5 stars since the rate was good. Nearby Walden isn't exactly bustling, but it's a serviceable getaway town for New Yorkers.

I spent a night in the orange grove suite. I was upstate visiting family with my brother and his two kids. We were welcomed by David with a big smile and he gave us a little history of the place. He is the kind of guy that you immediately like and are comfortable with. The suite was nicely decorated and... More

You can't beat Tin Brook if you want to stay in this area. Big, clean, nicely decorated rooms at a fair price. The owner Dave is very accommodating. Conveniently located off I-84 & the Thruway. Some good restaurants nearby - CenaColo's (the best Italian food even by NYC standards), Ward's Bridge Inn (more like a tavern w/excellent food & drink),... More

An interesting experience. This B&B is on a country road not that near points of interest but can work for those visiting Hyde Park and/or West Point, CIA or others. B&B is in a nice old house but there is an odd shop and a hotdog stand on the property. Breakfast is served in the shop! Rooms are nice and... More

We stayed here as we were visiting family, and had a wonderful time. Dave was a fantastic host and made us feel so welcome. We stayed in the Pear room very clean and comfortable. Even has a food truck outside, during the summer. Dave was so nice to make a dish especially for me since I’m a vegetarian. Had a... More

What a relaxing experience. Just what I needed. The Cranberry Bog was very comfortable. We wish David and his mom very well. God Bless you mom! Keep up the homemade crafts, knitting etc. Sense of family, home and love; what this country needs and what really matters!

We stayed here as we were visiting Orange County Choppers and had a wonderful time. Dave was a fantastic host and made us feel so welcome. We stayed in the Cranberry Bog Suite, which has two large bedrooms and private bathroom. Breakfast was delivered to our room in the morning and was delicious. We are so glad we found this... More

Dave & crew (Maegan) were responsive, helpful, generous & so easy to coordinate plans with. We were so close to everything 'New York' ... West Point for graduation festivities, took the train to city & local sights (plus shopping). Very nice ... We settled in to our 'home' for apart a full week. Slim, the cat, just added to our...
