September 2009 The weekend stay for our guests at the East Wind Inn & Spa was magnificent! Everything was so beautiful & clean & it all was run so efficiently. We can't believe how many compliments we got about the way the guests were treated at the Inn. Kudos to all involved! Also, the Spa was spectacular..the treatments & the... more

Me and my husband were married this month and as a wedding present my parents decided to book us a room for our wedding night. They went and saw the room and paid for us to have the room for the one night, champagne and strawberries when we arrived and brunch the next morning. We were told it was all... more

We had two family weddings here. The hall and staff were magnificent but I can not say a good word about the hotel or its staff They charged us an additonal $250 for our room claiming the chamber maid smelled smoke. We tried desperately to fight it, but the staff were extremely rude and obnoxious. They hung up on us... more

I attended a wedding in The Inn at East Wind in October, the wedding, accommodation and food was excellent. However I would like to inform you of my huge disappointment with the receptionist on duty at check out. I travelled from Ireland to attend the wedding and was staying in Manhattan for a few days after the wedding. The night... more

My wife and I stayed at the Inn on 8/10/08 for her aunts 50th anniv celebration. The best I can say is that it was ok. Only 1/2 the time were there people at the front desk to help guests. I usually had to wait 5- 10 minutes for someone to appear. The food was good, but we had brunch,... more

My girlfriend and I had just gotten engaged at the North Fork wineries, and I decided to spend the night at East Wind. Neither one of us had ever been there. For starters, the hotel is beautiful, with very spacious and nicely decorated rooms. We also mentioned upon check in that we had gotten engaged that day, and the staff... more

I will be attending a wedding at the Eastate at East Wind in May. Since I live in New Jersey I decided to make 2 room reservations - one for my husband & I, one for my parents. When I called and got the rate of $299 I was rather shocked but made the 2 reservations anyway, figuring I would... more

I stumbled on the Inn at East Wind on the web while searching for a property for a romantic Valentine's day getaway weekend, and after reading the reviews here and visiting their website I was sold. The Inn at East Wind is very traditional, relaxing, and spacious. It is a true getaway from NYC only a few hours away, and... more

My children (14, 18) and I took my husband to Atlantis Marine World and then to the Spa at the Inn at East Wind for his 65th Birthday. We booked a double "L" shapped room. While my daughter got her hair cut at the spa and my son did use the pool, I really felt that they did not truly... more

We stayed here because we were attending a wedding at this hotel and this was an extremely convenient way to go. The room was spacious and clean but, since we had just returned from a weeklong vacation, we found the price a bit high compared to some other places we had traveled to. But, since it was so convenient -... more
