Providential last free cottage. No reservation. A sign of destiny. A quiet place by the lake. Near Verona Beach. We only stayed one night, sunset on lake in summer, in August 2011. We really enjoyed being there. We would go back there.

We stayed here over July 4th, 2014. John and Merle were very nice and helpful. The cottage was very nice and cozy it had everything we expected it to have. Very close to the beach. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed there last summer and it was the worst place we've ever been. Our allergies flared up so badly, we couldn't breathe from the musty odor and whatever else was there. The bathroom was beyond small, the airconditioner barely worked, and there was loose wood in the floor. The owners were very nice, that was the only good part.... More

This is probably the dirtiest place I have ever stayed. it was last season but I know they open for the summer so I dont want anyone else to make the mistake of wasting their money here. I found mouse poop and it smelled musty. the owners or people working there were not friendly either. I would never stay here... More

We looked on Tripadvisor for a place to stay in Central NY near a lake and found the Dwarfline Cottages. I was intrigued by the variety of reviews so decided to take a chance. We certainly felt that a lot of the downside comments were unwarranted (at least to us) and that the upside was well stated. The location was... More

We took off on our annual 'end of the summer' jaunt after Labor Day and spent 2 nights at the Dwarfline based on recommendations from friends. We couldn't have picked a better place! The motel setting is unique in that there are no longer many places like it left. We found that the room, although smaller than average was clean,... More

We traveled from Pennsylvania to Maine and decided to stop at Oneida Lake on the way home to explore the Erie Canal area. We arrived late and asked someone where a good place to stay would be. They sent us to the Dwarf Line Motel. They also said it was clean!!! That is all I wanted was a clean room!!!... More

My experience with Dwarf Line began with an inquiring phone call. Of all four places I called to check availability, Dwarf Line was the only one that I did not have to leave a message as I did others. I actually got to speak with a real person right from the start. After reviewing the other places, I decided I... More

I had to respond when by chance I saw the last review. I stay with family each summer at Oneida lake and have stayed with the Dwarfline a number of times. While the nature of the lake and the state park is extremely beautiful it can also at times be quite damp due to storms and humidity and we just... More
