We only spent 2 nights here in late August, wish had more time. Karen is a wonderful host and the gardens reflect here attention to detail. The rooms are large and comfortable with a deck to watch the sunset, eagles soaring overhead or as we had one night, a spectacular thunder and lightning show. The restaurant has a great view... We spent three incredible days here and loved every minute of it. The flowers all over the property alone are worth the stay. Breakfast was creative and delicious, as was dinner. The owner could not have been more present or hands on, making sure everything was perfect. The room was very spacious and clean. I cannot understand why anyone would... More

Great room with big couch, rocking chair, electric FP. Good lighting, nice porch. Wonderful view of the bay. Great breakfast friendly and helpful staff. Dinners were lovely with a talented and creative chef. Only negative was wifi in room did not work. The inn is a real treat, highly recommended

We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. I apologize if the wi-fi in your room was not working properly (although it is always working in the main building). It does appear that during times of great usage (people downloading movies etc) there may be a strain on the sytem, we are in discussions with our computer people... More

Spent 3 days in July at the Inn. Spring was late this year, so we lucked out and the gardens were in full bloom with peonies, lilacs and other flowers. The Inn is landscaped beautifully and with the view of St. Peter's bay and the mussel fields the ambiance was relaxing and refreshing. The heart of this Inn is Karen... More

I am happy you were able to enjoy some of the wonderul "attractions" we have so close by, Crowbush and the Greenwich National Park are both beautiful seaside areas. I hope you did enjoy some of the things our guest rooms have to offer such as the mini fridge, DVD player and your own waterview deck. We are so fortunate... More

What can I say, I judge hotels based on the quality of towels. When you're paying $250 for a room before tax, I expect nice big fluffy towels. None to be found at the Inn at St. Peters. The size of the room was fantastic and we loved the gas fireplace on the chilly night we arrives, but we found... More

Alisa thank you for your comments. You are correct that all of our rooms have lovely views. While the waterfront rooms are slightly more expensive some guests do prefer the fact that they they are a bit more private. The bushes in front of our decks are always cut back in the spring, unfortunately sometimes mother nature takes over then... More

My wife and I are on our honeymoon and have booked many other Inns during our stay on the island. It was so hard for us to decide where on the island we should stay. Let me make it easy for you. Book Book Book a stay at this Inn. Trust me, this is coming from a hotel snob who... More

The Inn is a lovely property. Although I was disappointed that we could only book a water view room, rather than a water front room, we actually enjoyed our view very much. We were in cottage number 6 which has a wonderful view right down the bay, overlooking the very well maintained gardens. We had two queen beds in our... More

Stayed at this inn for 3 days while visiting PEI. Minutes from the beach and Greenwich National Park, 35 minutes from Charlottetown. Grounds abound with perennials, sunsets are spectacular from our rooms or from the main inn. Can't say enough about the delicious breakfasts with choice of eggs, pancakes or french toast or quiche. Didn't take advantage of afternoon tea... More

This review is somewhat tardy as we visited the Inn in early June at the start of a long vacation to PEI, Scotland and England. Our journey from Halifax airport, via the ferry was completed in heavy rain but as we drove across the island and approached St. Peter's Bay, things improved and once we were welcomed by Karen and... Thank you for very much for taking the time to write such a thoughtful review! PEI had quite the winter with 18' of snow however summer has arrived and our gardens are in full blooms. The fireplaces in our rooms are taking their "summer siestas" while our guests enjoy the gorgeous breezes coming off St. Peters Bay. I hope you... More

We stayed at the Inn for three days while visiting Prince Edward Island. The location appealed to us due to its proximity to the beach at Greenwich and a good distance from Charlottetown. Accommodations at the Inn were excellent; each room is a cabin adjacent to the main building (where an excellent breakfast is served). The room was large, and... More

How lovely to read your comments, thank you. We are so fortunate to be located in such a tranquil setting yet we are only a 35 minute drive from Charlottetown and 1 hour drive from the tourist sites of Cavendish. I am glad you found our rooms comfortable and I hope you had the chance to enjoy the view from... More
