This is where I stay whenever I've spent a long day in the City. It's halfway home for me and was the perfect place for rest and relaxation. The peace and tranquility that is all around this place is phenomenal. You have to take the time to sit in the Gazebo surrounded by Mountains. Rooms have always been clean and... More

Older style motel with courteous helpful staff. Shopping was fabulous. Woodbury commons Designer outlet shopping just 5 miles! Spend the money you save by staying here on a designer purchase. :-) LG from Fort Worth, Tx

My husband and I needed a modest place to stay while looking for a place in this neighborhood. As a pleasant surprise, we found the Tuxedo Motel, nested in the mountains but also in a very convenient location, easy access to everywhere. The motel is surrounded by the woods, and the trees were still bright red when we arrived, early... More

Because of reviews posted I stayed here. This motel is way past it's day. The front desk charged 50 cents for a baggie of ice when my husband asked where the ice machine was located. Next the room was smelly like it had been shut up for months. The room fridge did not work. The shower was dark and creepy.... More

We have been staying at this motel for close to twenty years. This place is close to the Appalachian Trail, Harriman St Pk, and a whole litany of local and state parks with wonderful hiking trails. We have also stayed here when we were hiking further north (Beacon, Breakneck, Taurus/Bull, New Paltz area of Mohonk and Minniwaska) or south (Ramapo... More

We needed a place to stay for a week while we visited family members who were working with the nearby Renaissance Faire, and we found just the right spot. Tuxedo Motel gave us the best price we've found for years and was also super clean and comfortable. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful as well. Unless you're looking for... More

I have stayed here several times now. It is clean, quiet, well maintained. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and there is a very nice picnic area. The price is unbeatable. The owner is a great guy and very accommodating. I highly recommend staying here.

Maybe because I did not get the password right the first time the staff told me and asked him for another time, he is very impatient. When I checked ouy, he talked to me rudy to let me drop the key to him. By the way, there is no wifi in room. You have to sit in the registration office... More

If you are traveling to or from the northwest (Binghamton, Rochester, Buffalo, Toronto) and want to stay about 1 hour outside of NYC, you simply cannot do better! This motel is clean, quiet, safe, magnificently located on park-like grounds, well-maintained, run by the nicest guy in the world, and dirt cheap!!!! I travel to NYC frequently and love staying here... More
