If you are looking for a place to sleep and relax while traveling around ADK this is the place! The cabins are small but all you need to enjoy your stay. The place is clean and the owners make you feel at home. Some of the other reviewers must have been expecting 5 star accommodations but didn't want to pay... More

Luckily I recieved my refund before I actually stayed the night, the cottage (behind the motel) # 15 smelled like Mold..............nothing against the owners, but the cottages need some help, no idea what the actual motel hotel rooms smelled like, this is just a heads up before you stay........in the cottages.

I'm sorry you where unhappy with the cabin We do not get many complaints. So I would like to ask why you refused to see a Motel and why you said you could not identify the order and now claim to know it was mold. Only order we detected was the smell of an air freshener the Maid used when... More

I had a bearing seize on my pickup truck as I was driving through to Plattsburgh. and they towed me to Counter's Garage in Tupper Lake. I needed a place to lay up for a day or two as they hunted down the part. The Park was right down the street, an easy walk. The owner Maggie was very friendly... More

From the moment I spoke to them by phone I knew I was going to like the Park Motel. It's quaint in a 60s motel kinda way and is all the better for the 'olde worlde charm'. The whole place is like a time capsule! It's been beautifully maintained, the rooms are so clean and really big. The bed was... More

I stayed here for a night before a winter backpacking trip and then again for another night after we finished our hike. We chose the cheapest room - "economy". The economy room was simple but clean, and the price made it a great value. The staff was very friendly, both checking in and in the morning. It was also nice... More

We come to the Adirondacks to hike, so we don't spend too much time in the hotel. For a budget choice, you won't go wrong here. Very basic rooms (something like $50 a night I think?), friendly owners. Good location for access to a lot of the best hiking in the Adirondacks - don't miss Ampersand mountain nearby, one of... We enjoyed our week long stay - thanks to the tremendous hospitality of Maggie, Jerry and Dave. Room service every day. We hauled our HD Motorcycles and they offered room to park the truck and trailer and parking in front of the room. Every day we traveled 200 miles throughout the region. This was one of the best trips we... More

The other reviews make it clear that very small cabins from decades past may not be everyone's cup of tea. My cabin was very small, just barely big enough for a double bed, a table with two chairs (for eating, not for sitting and reading), and a fridge and microwave. The bathroom is so small I left the door open... More

We stayed in a cabin and it was a little small for 3 adults, the beds were comfy but there was not much space to move around. The shower was a little hit and miss for hot water and there really needs to be a fan installed as it didn't dry out easily. However, the price is excellent and it... More
