This was our first trip to the finger lakes and our first stay in a bed and breakfast. Above our expectations! Rose was great. Wonderful cooking and even got us dinner reservations within minutes of our arrival. We would definitely do it again. Very clean as well.

My wife and I were looking for something in Ithaca but by luck came across a close by Inn that had an intriguing name. " The Inn at Gothic Eves " with the support of Trip Advisors ratings , we took the chance and made our reservation. The result from arrival to the end of our four day stay exceeded... More

My wife and I enjoyed spending our first anniversary at Gothic Eves. The property is pristine, and the room and common areas were spotless. We were extremely comfortable here. When we arrived we were met by Rose, the owner, who was very nice and made us feel very welcome. Rose offered advice on what to do and see, and where... More

Thank you! Those were very nice comments about the room and house. The Bordeaux Suite was renovated in 2014. It was a room that was reviewed for being loud prior to the construction. Foam insulation was put into exterior wall and interior walls. I also replaced the windows. I added heavy black out curtains as well to help insulate for... More

My husband and I stayed at this charming little B&B with my parents for our daughter's graduation from Cornell University. We reserved 2 rooms for 5 nights, the Merlot Room (2nd floor in the back of the house) and the Syrah Room (2nd floor in the front). Both rooms were very luxurious and comfortable, with updated furnishings and very modern... More

I am happy to hear that you were pleased with the Inn. I was away for my own daughters Graduation from MASSART this weekend. You were left with my experienced help. They have proven invaluable to me so I can step out every once in awhile to enjoy those wonderful events with my adult children. It is good to know... More

We were only able to stay one night, so had booked the Riesling Room for that reason. On arrival, Rose "upgraded" us at no addt'l charge to the Merlot Room upstairs- wow that bathroom is amazing! Room was very comfortable and well-appointed, as well as quiet. We intend to return and explore more as Rose pointed out there's so much... More

You are welcome. The Riesling Suite is a popular room for the Inn but when I can adjust the schedule to upgrade, I do. There is so much to do in the Finger Lakes Region of NY. Staying at the Inn for the day is also possible with the services offered by the Spa, outdoor seating and the Suites with... More

I had originally booked the reisling suite, a really luxurious Queen bed. But upon arrival we were informed we'd been "bumped up" to the seneca grande suite which was absolutely stunning. We were greeted by Rose, the owner, and the sweetest woman I've ever met. It felt like going home when we walked in. The house had been masterfully renovated... More

The Inn is committed to providing a luxury and healthy experience to our guests. We offer this to the travelers who understand the value and don't want us to compromise our service and accommodations to offer discount prices. Thank you for staying and I look forward to seeing you again. More

We arrived on a cold, windy, snowy evening, and were thrilled to find The Inn at Gothic Eves to be warm and welcoming. Our room was comfortable, and both our room and our bathroom were updated and beautiful. We enjoyed reading in the living room in the evening, and breakfast in the morning was delicious and filling. Rose has done... More

The words freezing, deep, cold, windy, snowy don't begin to describe the weather this year. Even our Visitor Bureau went on record and told people to go to the Keys, Florida instead. The story was picked up on ABC World News. As cold as it has been, it is absolutely beautiful here in the winter. The snow is light and... More

My fiancé and I are both in the restaurant business and we desperately needed a getaway. We live around Philadelphia and wanted a scenic trip, so we chose the Finger Lakes Region. The Inn at Gothic Eves was the perfect place for us and for anyone who wants a quiet, relaxing, romatic getaway. This was our first experience in a... More

Your input from a restaurants point of view is valuable to me. Thank you not telling me your occupations before I served you breakfast. I may have second guessed myself about the menus each morning. Congrats again on your engagement. Hope I see you guys again. More

My husband and I were in the area for a baptism and only stayed one night. We were incredibly comfortable during our stay and had a delicious meal for breakfast the next day. The fireplace in our room was quite romantic. Taughannock Falls is just a hop, skip, and a jump away, as is the Ithaca's Farmer's market. We walked... More

Thank you for sharing. The Hazelnut Kitchen has been a real favorite to most guests of the Inn. After a day of wine tasting, walking to a wonderful dinner from the Inn completes the day. My guests from NYC, Boston, Baltimore, Toronto, Quebec, Philadelphia and most large cities, find this restaurant serving food comparable to the best meals they have... More

This was our first bed and breakfast and the accomodations, hospitality, and food exceeded our expectations. We had traveled from NJ to the finger lakes and this is local at its best. Within 20 to 30 min drive to Cayuga and Seneca lakes and of course all the wineries and attractions. Beautiful decor, awesome service, and farm to table food.... More

There is a lot of responsibility on an Innkeeper to provide a guest with their first experience staying at a Bed and Breakfast. I am happy that it was positive. My hope would be that one day, you will be writing a review and it will say that you have stayed in many Bed and Breakfast over the years all... More
