This was our second stay at Gothic Eves, and once again we were thoroughly pleased. Rose is so charming and pleasant you won't feel like leaving when the time comes. Breakfast was great again. We opted for the smallest room this time, and it was rather small for two people. No closet, very small shower. Bed was very comfortable. It... More

The Inn at Gothic Eves is warm and inviting and very, very relaxing. Rose is an exceptional host and a wonderfully creative cook. Her staff do an amazing job of keeping the home spotless. The hot tube was a HUGE bonus. We will definitely be back!

Thank you for giving me your feedback on the new changes to the room. The Inn was under construction through the winter, changing Syrah suite and 3 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. It was quite an ordeal but it is worth it when my guests enjoy the space. Syrah Suite is a second floor room with a queen bed and private... More

Very clean & a very nice room, easy to find, central to a number of other attractions, super service & absolutely great meals. Rose did a wonderful job making us comfortable. The property is very nice & easy parking. We traveled in all directions during our stay & had no issues in/around Trumansburg. Great restaurant within walking distance.

Lovely home, beautiful rooms, delicious food. Rose is a delightful and attentive innkeeper. We selected this Inn for Cornell graduation weekend to escape the room lottery and inflated prices of the Ithaca chain hotels. We were able to select our room more than a year in advance and avoided the over inflated prices of the chains. A great find!!!

Your comments are helpful to my future guests. Thank you for taking your time to share your thoughts. Yes, compared to Ithaca, this is a quiet place. The guests enjoy the convenience of being close to Ithaca but not the noise of Ithaca. I am glad you enjoyed your stay. More

Great rooms and breakfast. Too close to road to enjoy property due to road noise. Location is convenient for day trips to wineries and parks. Amenities including hot tub and indoor communal area were much appreciated and enjoyed!

Thank you for reviewing the Inn. It is difficult to be convenient and still be far away from the hustle and bustle of the Village. To help decide if this Inn is meant for future guests, they need to know that we are located in a Village within walking distance to restaurants, evening entertainment and shops. We are convenient to... More

The owner Rose has done a wonderful job of remodeling this old property. The woodwork is beautiful. The Cayuga room has a nice sitting area with a gas stove which is nice and cozy. The bedroom was extremely overheated the first night. She turned the thermostat down for the next night, but it was still quite variable during the night.... More

My husband and I traveled with 2 friends to the Finger Lakes and stayed for several nights at Gothic Eves. Upon first arrival, it looked a bit rustic from the exterior and I wasn't sure it would live up to some of the great B&Bs we've stayed at. However, once we explored a bit, it did not disappoint. We chose... More

I stayed overnight here from a Sunday to a Monday. The inn is clean, well-appointed, welcoming, and very comfortable in the way a good B&B should be. The food was excellent. Rose is very friendly and accommodating. Trumansburg is just a great town. I took advantage of four things that I think everyone who stays here should be sure not... More

We've stayed at the Gothic Eves two times, and I cannot recommend highly enough. Rose will do anything she can to ensure that your stay is a fantastic one. The breakfasts are fantastic - interesting and tasty food, sourced locally. The rooms are very nicely done - classic decor that is also very functional. We will be back.
