We arrived on a cold, windy, snowy evening, and were thrilled to find The Inn at Gothic Eves to be warm and welcoming. Our room was comfortable, and both our room and our bathroom were updated and beautiful. We enjoyed reading in the living room in the evening, and breakfast in the morning was delicious and filling. Rose has done... More

The words freezing, deep, cold, windy, snowy don't begin to describe the weather this year. Even our Visitor Bureau went on record and told people to go to the Keys, Florida instead. The story was picked up on ABC World News. As cold as it has been, it is absolutely beautiful here in the winter. The snow is light and... More

My fiancé and I are both in the restaurant business and we desperately needed a getaway. We live around Philadelphia and wanted a scenic trip, so we chose the Finger Lakes Region. The Inn at Gothic Eves was the perfect place for us and for anyone who wants a quiet, relaxing, romatic getaway. This was our first experience in a... More

Your input from a restaurants point of view is valuable to me. Thank you not telling me your occupations before I served you breakfast. I may have second guessed myself about the menus each morning. Congrats again on your engagement. Hope I see you guys again. More

My husband and I were in the area for a baptism and only stayed one night. We were incredibly comfortable during our stay and had a delicious meal for breakfast the next day. The fireplace in our room was quite romantic. Taughannock Falls is just a hop, skip, and a jump away, as is the Ithaca's Farmer's market. We walked... More

Thank you for sharing. The Hazelnut Kitchen has been a real favorite to most guests of the Inn. After a day of wine tasting, walking to a wonderful dinner from the Inn completes the day. My guests from NYC, Boston, Baltimore, Toronto, Quebec, Philadelphia and most large cities, find this restaurant serving food comparable to the best meals they have... More

This was our first bed and breakfast and the accomodations, hospitality, and food exceeded our expectations. We had traveled from NJ to the finger lakes and this is local at its best. Within 20 to 30 min drive to Cayuga and Seneca lakes and of course all the wineries and attractions. Beautiful decor, awesome service, and farm to table food.... More

There is a lot of responsibility on an Innkeeper to provide a guest with their first experience staying at a Bed and Breakfast. I am happy that it was positive. My hope would be that one day, you will be writing a review and it will say that you have stayed in many Bed and Breakfast over the years all... More

My husband and I just enjoyed a lovely weekend in the Finger Lakes and had a great stay at the Gothic Eaves. When we first arrived we were surprised to find that the inn is located on a main street and is not as isolated as we had supposed, but our room (the Merlot suite) was at the back of... More

Thank you for giving my future guests a glimpse of the Inn and services. Yes, the Inn is in the Village of Trumansburg. It makes it convenient to shops, and restaurants. The Hazelnut Kitchen, Rongovian Embassy, Silver Line Tavern and a new bowling alley/brew pub will open soon are all in walking distance. You stayed in the Merlot Suite and... More

My husband and I stayed at the Inn at Gothic Eves for 3 nights in October and it was fantastic. Rose is very helpful with providing suggestions on where to go and the best way to get there. Breakfast was amazing each morning, always local, organic and homemade. If we ever got back to the area, we'll stay there again.

Thank you for taking the time to talk to future guests about the Inn. It has been a beautiful Fall. At one point, we thought it was going to pass us by like the summer did. I look forward to taking care of you in the future. Next time you should enjoy a Spa Service. IT is open and serving... More

My husband & I chose to visit Finger Lakes area for a little getaway with our 4 month old daughter in tow. Staying at Gothic Eves was perfect. We opted for the Cayuga Suite as it has a separate sitting room (perfect for a pack n' play). While babe slept, we still had our own area where we didn't have... More

Gothic Eves is a destination in itself. Three delicious breakfasts prepared and presented by Rose, using all locally grown and hatched ingredients. Fresh herbs picked from the garden. She is an imaginative and thoughtful cook. I was there for a wedding and felt like a bride. My room was beautifully appointed and quiet, with all amenities provided. In addition to... More

I took my fiance here for his birthday and it was my first experience with a bed and breakfast. I can say that it wont be the last. Beautiful, relaxing property. We took advantage of both the hot tub and the hammock. We stayed in the Bordeaux room and it was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Thank you for helping in our goal to educate our guests to their opportunities for lodging. This room was renovated this past winter and the new windows, and foam insulation installed have helped alleviate the sound that past guests have written about. I look forward to seeing you again. More
