My husband and I just enjoyed a lovely weekend in the Finger Lakes and had a great stay at the Gothic Eaves. When we first arrived we were surprised to find that the inn is located on a main street and is not as isolated as we had supposed, but our room (the Merlot suite) was at the back of... More

My husband and I stayed at the Inn at Gothic Eves for 3 nights in October and it was fantastic. Rose is very helpful with providing suggestions on where to go and the best way to get there. Breakfast was amazing each morning, always local, organic and homemade. If we ever got back to the area, we'll stay there again.

Thank you for taking the time to talk to future guests about the Inn. It has been a beautiful Fall. At one point, we thought it was going to pass us by like the summer did. I look forward to taking care of you in the future. Next time you should enjoy a Spa Service. IT is open and serving... More

My husband & I chose to visit Finger Lakes area for a little getaway with our 4 month old daughter in tow. Staying at Gothic Eves was perfect. We opted for the Cayuga Suite as it has a separate sitting room (perfect for a pack n' play). While babe slept, we still had our own area where we didn't have... More

Gothic Eves is a destination in itself. Three delicious breakfasts prepared and presented by Rose, using all locally grown and hatched ingredients. Fresh herbs picked from the garden. She is an imaginative and thoughtful cook. I was there for a wedding and felt like a bride. My room was beautifully appointed and quiet, with all amenities provided. In addition to... More

I took my fiance here for his birthday and it was my first experience with a bed and breakfast. I can say that it wont be the last. If you're a lover of older buildings and architecture like myself, you wont want to leave. The entire Inn is enchanting and charming. I loved our room the Pinot Suite- its done... More

Beautiful, relaxing property. We took advantage of both the hot tub and the hammock. We stayed in the Bordeaux room and it was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Enjoyed two delicious breakfasts prepared by our great hostess Rose. We both enjoyed our stay very much and hope to return again one day. Although the Inn is located on a main road,... More

Thank you for helping in our goal to educate our guests to their opportunities for lodging. This room was renovated this past winter and the new windows, and foam insulation installed have helped alleviate the sound that past guests have written about. I look forward to seeing you again. More

Stayed there in July 2014. Owner was very helpful in arranging a room at last minute. Room had a good view out over backyard and although the B & B is on the main road was quite quiet. Room somewhat novel as you entered through the bathroom. Facilities in room and room itself were top notch. Backyard a great place... More

It delights me that you enjoyed one of our new rooms, Merlot Suite. When it was built originally in 1980s, it won an architectural award for being sensitive to the original style of the home. It is true that you have to walk through the bathroom to get to the bedroom which has that Gothic Revival window. I took great... More

We very much enjoyed our stay in this area of NY. The Inn is very well maintained, decorated nicely, has beautiful grounds and is very, very clean. Our room The Seneca Room was also quite small for the price. Rose is a lovely person who makes a fantastic breakfast. However, we were a little disappointed with the location. We thought,... More

The Inn is located in the Village of Trumansburg. It is an active and much enjoyed community by its village people and others. We are between Seneca and Cayuga Lake where there are at least 50 wineries in less than 30 minute drive from the Inn. It is a popular destination for the Finger Lakes with Taughannock Falls State park... More

We couldn't have been happier with our vacation to the Finger Lakes, and that is large in part because of Rose and her lovely Inn. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The grounds were manicured and lovely. And we'd come back for the breakfasts alone! Rose takes pride in running her Inn, and it shows in every inch and every... More

This bed and breakfast is fabulous. Rose, the innkeeper, is an intelligent, welcoming, and "put your feet up anywhere" kind of hostess. And a skilled chef. She redefined breakfast with polenta and greens and she could probably tell the name of the hen that laid the egg you're eating. In other words, she is really committed to farm-to-table. Will return.

LOL I don't know the name of the hens but the rooster is named Napoleon. The vegies come from a farm that I do know the owners and enjoy supporting them in their efforts to bring good food to me and all of my guests. Glad you enjoyed your stay, I will see you soon. More
