My boyfriend and I stayed here during a family funeral. What a peaceful home; all our needs were provided for. Tina left home baked snacks in the living room and cooked up fresh breakfast in the morning. We stayed in the king room, which had a private bathroom. The house is located in an odd part of Troy, but we... More

We stayed here while visiting RPI and Union College with our son. We found the Inn very comfortable--both our room and the ample common spaces. The Wifi was peppy and the room had plenty of outlets to charge all our deviices. We also found it quite quiet and the private parking was a nice plus. Thebreakfast was ample--nothing gourmand but... We decided to stay in Troy while attending the races in Saratoga Springs. Our room was spacious and we had a king sized bed.Tina was gracious, breakfast was hot and delicious and snacks and coffee were always available. The neighborhood is in an older part of the city and you need a car to get to restaurants downtown. I would... More

We stayed for a night in October while visiting RPI. The mansion is an amazing building with very interesting antique furniture and decorations. The proprietor was very friendly and contacted us several times beforehand to make sure we had check-in instructions, restaurants recommendations, directions, etc. Breakfast was cooked to order from a limited menu. The only major downside we experienced... More

This B&B is a terrific place to stay when you are in Troy, NY. The bedrooms are spacious, clean, and graciously decorated. The well-appointed bathrooms are spotless. The mansion is impressive, without being imposing, and credit goes to Tina for creating such a welcoming space. Breakfast was perfectly made to order and the bed was first rate. If you want... More

We have stayed at many B&B's and this is one of the worst. The house itself could be very beautiful but definitely needs some love and care. The rugs are worn and the plants are dying and there is a lot of clutter. The best thing I can say is that it is inexpensive, but it is true you get... More

There aren't many hotels in Troy, NY. The choices were 2 big name hotels and this bed and breakfast. I am very glad we decided to stay here. The proprietor, Tina, welcomed me personally and gave me a tour. She is a charming and gracious host. The place is decorated beautifully and is very clean. Snacks were left out for... More

Beautiful Victorian mansion, laid back, owner operated, full breakfast, excellent rates. Will definitely stay there again on subsequent visits to area. Amenities include in-room TV/DVD, lots of videos available, books, etc. Breakfast made-to-order from extensive down-home menu. Large rooms with private baths in hallway, comfortable beds.

From the moment you park your vehicle in its specially designated parking spot in the large lot adjacent to the mansion, you know you've found a beautiful oasis in Troy. You walk past a garden of beautiful flowers to a big hello from the proprietor Tina, who shows you around and makes you feel so welcome. We stayed in the... More
