We had an amazing host.Lovely breakfast.Dedicated parking. Good company. Home away from home. A little street noise early in the day. Warm and inviting. Not far from the main highway.Lots of history and great places to walk. Plenty of dining option within walking distance. will be back.

Thank you so much for taking the time to review your stay, not all Folks do or have the time. Honest reviews are our "Lifeblood". The Olde Judge was a good fit for you, and I loved having you both, it was fun! Hope to see you in the future! More

My mom and I stayed here for part of RPI's Family Weekend. Would have stayed longer, but we didn't reserve far enough in advance for that busy weekend. A native of Troy, Tina suggested several scenic locales and filled us in on the rich history of the area. Delicious made-to-order breakfast, and room price was 1/2 what we paid at... More

Thank you so much for a quick honest review, Some Folks really put great emphasis on Reviews. All B&B's are different and unique to themselves and locations. Some look for Historical houses, sometimes look only for "brand new" some very close to their destinations. I am very happy I was able to please and satisfy you both. Would love to... More

Uncomfortable bed(s), bathroom way, way, way down the hall with drain backing up in the shower, less than clean common rooms and halls (mostly dust and spider webs) and food left out for guests that also attracted at least one pest that I saw (the rear end of a small vermin as it scurried away). If this wasn't "enough," the... More

What a beautiful place. Big old mansion in the middle of Troy, NY. It's like staying at Grandma's. Such a treat. The rooms are all nice sizes, each with it's own assigned bath down the hall. Breakfast was delicious and there's snacks 24/7. I'm sorry I only have pictures of the downstairs. Loved the Olde Judge Mansion. Thanks for a... More

Good value for the money, large enough room with private bath down the hall. Didn't see our host, Tina, until the next morning, but we didn't need anything . She fixed a nice breakfast for us and happily shared the history of the house - very interesting. Great character inside , lovely woodwork. Neighborhood could be better.

This stay was not a pleasant one, but very inexpensively priced and close to Rensselear, so convenient for our purposes. Glad to be in an out in one night and significantly cheaper than nearby alternatives. Good place if you are coming in to spend the night and leave. Not so good if you like to walk around and take in... More

Hello all, I must say that this reviewer, and I remember her well is not being fair at all. She must remember in 2016 we will be a 300 yr old Former Industrial City, we are not a Vacation destination nor do we have tourist things in our Neighborhood . This area is zoned Business or a B&B would not... More

Me and my boyfriend spent the night in this awesome old house (was told is had somewhere around 23 rooms!) when we were driving NYC to Montreal. Tina, the owner, is a lovely woman who makes you feel at home from the start. She also serves the perhaps biggest and most delicious breakfast in the state. Definitely worth a stay... More

Tina, the owner of this up-and-coming B&B, is a delight -- helpful and informative, funny and down-to-earth. And she whips up a delicious breakfast (not to mention supplying an array of tasty midnight snacks). The area is a little down-at-heels, but the property's fenced, off-street parking area reduced our anxiety on that front. One thing to remember when leaving the... More

As we drove closer, I too thought our GPS had gone haywire. But don't fret, dear reader. The surrounding area wants this to succeed , and visitors will find the lodgings super comfortable, clean, warm and safe. Our two children's eyes gleamed with the games available on the second floor parlor. Tina's delicious breakfast and the old age custom of... More
