I have been spending some time in Westchester recently for work. I have tried out many of the hotels in the area, but the last three times, have gone to the Doubletree. The main reason I keep coming back is because of the amazing beds. I get a great night of sleep every time I am here. I wake up... More

I was stunned by this hotel. First, on a very long walk to my room through dirty hallways, I was beginning to worry. When I got to my room, my key did not work. I found a maid who called the front desk and they advised her to let me in...and she did...without checking my ID. The room was average... More

This is the perfect place for a NYC gettaway. Seriously. It's half hour to the city by train, the hotel picks you up and drops you off at the station - even after MIDNIGHT - so you can play and then AFFORD to stay close to the city. Highly recommend it. More

I went to the Doubletree by Hilton Tarrytown for a business trip in September. I have to say the best thing about this hotel is the location. It's close enough to the city but out of the way enough so you can breathe a little! The staff were very friendly and the quality of food in the restaurant was absolutely... More

My family stayed here for two nights in August before heading back to Amsterdam (luckily just before the hurricane). I've always had great stays at the Doubletree so I was looking forward to a well appointed room and the cookies. Well, the cookies were great but the room was a big let down. The hotel had been converted/renovated a year... More

First of all, I'm writing this Christmas Day eve -- it pains me to even write this review, but it's important I think, that members know about this property. While I haven't stayed at the hotel since the renovation, but I visited the property this past Friday (I live in Tarrytown). And, I have recommended it to friends and clients... More

We were in town for a family event. Convenient location and overall adequate. We too ate at the diner across the street, much cheaper. Pool nice, lobby nice. Cookie at check in. What a strange maze to get to your room, esp. if you are on the 4th floor. If you hate to walk, you are in trouble. The solution... More

We stayed here for one night for a family party near by. the room was big, comfortable and clean. The warm chocolate chip cookie at the check in was also much appreciated! i would stay here again. i worked out in the fitness center, it was clean and adequate. the bar was great for our after party and had fairly... Hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. Room was large and spacious. Pool was cozy but large enough for short laps. Steam room was a surprise. Elevators were tiny but not a big problem since it is ony two stories. Location is easy to find. More
