Everything wonderful about this place has already been said. The rooms are clean and beautiful, cozy, and updated...the owners were super nice, the breakfast was ridiculously delicious, and the location is gorgeous! Older reviews of this place that are not complimentary are clearly from the previous owner who, we were told by a local shopkeeper, was horrible. We stayed in... More

We loved this place. It's a family owned, family run lodge that is clean and perfectly decorated. Terrence, the owner/concierge/chef was friendly and welcoming, as was his wife. A gourmet breakfast of our choice was served in the morning I had a salmon and goat cheese frittata and Adam had a pork belly skillet. A banana and chocolate chip breakfast... More

The rooms: Clean, rustic and quiet. Our room had a shared porch which was lovely. Our room was small but nice and cozy. The grounds: Well maintained with beautiful views all around. Plenty of areas to sit and enjoy the scenery. The service: Terrance and his wife were great!!! The staff members were all quite friendly. Top of the line... More

This is a beautiful hotel with a delicious gourmet breakfast prepared for you each morning. Clean, spacious rooms with beautiful views. The owners are attentive and care about making your stay a pleasurable one. They take you on a mini tour of the lodge, as well as tell you about local attractions.

Beautiful old feel hunting lodge in the Catskills. Wood paneling, fireplaces, warm beds, balconies and nestled in the Catskills .. Terence and Amy run a great inn and he's an excellent cook. Awesome breakfast. They are welcoming, open and friendly. It was a pleasure staying here and my girlfriend and I are already talking about our next visit. Definitely recommend!

This hotel already rated huge in our book because they are pet-friendly, but what drove this stay home was how amazing the rooms, food and hospitality were. Amy and Terrence are warm and inviting and go to the next level to make your stay easy and relaxing. And breakfast is to die for. Terrence is an exceptional chef and makes... More

We stayed here this weekend to celebrate our five-year anniversary of dating and had an absolutely wonderful time! Amy & Terrence were fantastic hosts and made our stay so comfortable. We stayed in the Emerson Cabin, which was cozy and quaint. We loved the fireplace and roomy tub!! The bed was super comfortable, too. The main lodge is just as... More

We were looking for a place in the Catskills that had character and comfort. This one exceeded our expectations! We were traveling further north for a meeting and decided to stay another night on our return. Our room was number 7, on the top floor, with windows on three sides and wonderful slanted ceilings. The bed was very comfortable and... More

We stayed here this past V-day. After a scary ride in due to the incoming blizzard we finally made it to the Hotel Mountain Brook. The property is amazing. We were greeted by Amy and Terrence who were extremely warm and welcoming. We stayed in one of the cottages and it extremely comfortable. The best part was our fireplace that... More

My husband and I spent our 1-year aniversary at Hotel Mountain Brook. Wonderful experience. This was our first bed and breakfast we've stayed at. We stayed in the East Lodge, not the main house. Our room was very cozy and clean with a gas fireplace. Terrence and Amy were great hosts. Terrence made our breakfast two mornings and the food... More
