My spouse and I were looking for a night away on short notice, and the Clarion meet the expectations. We opted for a hot-tub room and the price point was very reasonable. The hotel itself is a bit dated, however the staff were friendly and while the room did not 'wow' us, it meet the expectations. The hot tub was... More

This is a very well kept hotel with good wifi and a very nice parking lot <good for all types of vehicles>. The staff are friendly and the rooms are well kept with the occasional repair need. All in all a very nice stay. FYI there isn't much around back here so if you want snacks and such get them... More

I do have a lot to say about this experience. It was one of the worst hotels I have been to. From when I checked in a child selling Nature Valley Granola bars in the Lobby and asking for donations (that I think was a son of someone in the hotel) to the fact that outlets, sinks, and many other... Fairly basic no frills hotel. The first thing I noticed while checking in was the old musty smell. Very similar to the room smell. This is a somewhat outdated hotel. The front desk staff was fair , not overly friendly but got the job done.it would have been helpful if they gave you a little better direction to your room.... More

Let me start by saying that I have a knee injury and was walking with a cane. We arrived at the hotel and used the handicapped ramp to enter the building. We brought our luggage with us to check in. The girl who gave us the keys told us that our room was on the first floor, down the stairs.... More

We stayed here overnight while visiting the State Fair. Thank goodness it was only overnight!! We arrived back to the hotel @10pm after a wonderful day at the fair. When we checked in, we were exhausted after being on the go since 5:30 am. We arrived at the hotel and had no problems checking in. The room layout was nice...we... More

We had booked this hotel since it was close to the NYS Fair and DestinyUSA. I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews but to my surprise our stay was very nice. We were greeted warmly at arrival and had a room on the first floor. The room was large and airy and was very clean. It... More

Pleasant front desk staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Beds were different then last year when we stayed, definitely more comfortable. Good hot breakfast and lots of choices to sit and have some privacy while eating. Although we didnt use the shuttle to go to the fair, it is a great added bonus.

Hotels are pricey nowadays but this one provided excellent front desk staff, an awesome bartender/continental breakfast host who gave me a to-go cup for my wine to go to the state fair, comfortable beds, ample room space, lots of parking and entrances, very clean big entrance, a complimentary shuttle, etc. We were there for 24 hours and everything was great!... This hotel is very close and convenient to I-90 and the NYS Fair. That's why we chose it. We had no problems checking in and the front desk clerk was very nice and attentive. Our room (167) was just ok. The bed was clean and the overall room was decent. The bathroom needs some attention. The toilet had stains in... More
