Staff is well trained, location is ok, rooms are clean and spacious. There's no restaurant, however, the staff will quickly call in a van for you and you get a free ride to a restaurant in their "sister" hotel. That restaurant is good to very good and the staff is very good as well. Breakfast in the morning is a... More

This hotel was once a synagogue and has some very interesting room shapes and sizes. The lobby has some beautiful Tiffany style glass. The staff was helpful and friendly. the hotel is only a block from Syracuse University Campus and some student friendly restaurants. I would definitely come back if i was in the Syracuse area.

Stayed here while doing a tour a road trip through New England and was only here one night. Hands down this was the best hotel of the trip! Absolutely beautiful and loved that it was a boutique hotel. We stayed here because we Hotwired this hotel and was pleasantly surprised. Best decision ever! Arrived here after a very long drive... Only stayed one night but the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was modern and clean. The lobby has beautiful stained glass accents and a small well-stocked bar. Very nice atmosphere. Only complaint was lack of any complimentary breakfast items. Would definitely stay again if in the Syracuse area.

Great room, great service and great people. A very clean, well maintained property where client service is an obvious priority. Our room was right off of lobby so was a little noisy but nice and close to bar. Free parking is nice touch.

The atmosphere of the hotel in a coverted synagogue is cool and everything was clean and neat. It is a very environmentally focused hotel, perhaps too much so as it led to dimly lit bathrooms and low water pressure. Bed was way toosoft for my personal preferance-like sinking into a cotton ball.

It's a good hotel. It is clean, cozy, modern and small. I like that there is no charge for the business center. The exercise room has 3 pieces of equipment. The lobby is cute, with the bar. For a boutique hotel, I expect a Manager's Cocktail hour; some danishes or something for breakfast; maybe some cookies at check-in; and maybe... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at Hotel Skyler on our way from Cooperstown to Niagara Falls. The hotel is very nice and clean and stylish and has lots of cool energy-saving features, but I had a really bad experience because of major noise issues. The guys staying in the room next to us came home drunk at 5 a.m. and... More

First, let me start by saying that I detest hotels. But I understand that they are a part of life and I have to tolerate them. Therefore I am a hotel snob, but I have a middle class budget. So I thoroughly review my hotel choice before choosing one. I stayed at the Hotel Skyler for one night, July, 29.... More

What a great place! Right in the hospital/university area, close to downtown. Ample free parking, good security, and a wonderful look to it (that old temple facade is fantastic). There is a bar in the lobby with several excellent local craft beers on tap, and if you get up late enough you can get a breakfast sandwich made there for... More
