This place was not a hotel when I was a student (I think it was Salt City Playhouse, and before that a synagogue). What a great boutique hotel! Before if you wanted to stay on or near campus it was pretty much the Sheraton - which is fine, but you pay for the location and nothing special in accommodations. They... More

This very friendly, funky, charming hotel is comfortably on the Syracuse University campus out-slicks anything else in the region. It's the only place I will consider booking on my next trips to Syracuse University.

Just completed two nights at the hotel and overall enjoyed myself. The king standard room was small but met our needs. The bed was very comfortable and we had no problems with noise. Wifi was available everywhere and the bar was a good meeting place to relax. While the hotel has no restaurant because it has no kitchen it does... More

We checked in on Friday afternoon into this lovely looking hotel on the campus of SU. Rooms are not inexpensive. The room is very nicely appointed but it is just too small. It is next to impossible not to hit your leg against the bed frame as you maneuver from one side of the room to the other. A great... More

I had a meeting and dinner at Syracuse University and did not want to drive the 100 miles back home later in the evening. My wife and I decided we would try this fairly new (3 years old) hotel adjacent to campus. The hotel is kind of funky having been an old Jewish temple. The layout meanders given the changing... More

Came to SYR to elope and booked the weekend at The Skyler. It was absolutely beautiful and the staff was amazing. They were always available but not intrusive. Very friendly & warm service. Especially the woman who was working the breakfast bar area. The free shuttle was great to go to Armory Square and being able to walk to Marshall... More

On our way to Philadelphia we broke the drive there and stopped over night at the Skyler. It was a plain looking hotel from the outside but once through the main doors ....what a difference. The staff were very friendly and polite and check in was fast and efficient. Our room was spacious and very clean and the bed very... More

I really enjoyed this hotel. The rooms are clean and modern, the staff is friendly, and there's a lobby bar. The location is about a block or two from SU campus. Can't really ask for more. Is there a loyalty program?

We were on a road trip and decided to stop in Syracuse because we were tired. We knew nothing about Syracuse, so just opted to do a hotwire room that met the criteria we were looking for in the area and luckily we landed this awesome hotel! I was a bit worried when I pulled up to the outside because... More
