My wife and myself spend 3 wks with Annie and David. There are no words to express the breakfast that they prepared for my wife who because of meds. needed a special diet. They were very helpful with information as to where to visit in the area etc. while there they had a family get together and insisted that we... More

Ophelias Bed and Breakfast is a warm, comfortable and beautiful place where guests are treated like family. The hosts are very accomidating and they are both great cooks! My daughter and I have stayed here several times and feel very comfortable and "at home" at Ophelias B and B.

We called and spoke with Ophelia about a room at her Garden Inn and were told that there was one room left with a private bath. What we got was a room with a bathroom across the foyer and down the hall that other guests could use during their breakfast - awkward! While Annie and David seem quite charming their... More

I responded to these guests directly after their "review" as much of their info. was inaccurate. I was taken back a bit since they booked this room hours before they arrived ( I had one room left for one night...on one of the busiest weekends in Syracuse) I not only accommodated them, I didn't charge them the premium price that... Had another wonderful stay at Ophelia's Garden Inn, with more time to explore the area and see some of its charms. Once again, Annie and David were delightful and accommodating hosts, and my room completely comfy and cozy. Both mornings, I had breakfast by myself in the lovely garden, eating a simple meal of eggs and toast, along with some... More

I stayed again at this marvelous inn (B&B) and had a wonderful time despite a difficult business trip. Annie and David let me check in early and then go attend to business. At the end of the day was I ever happy to plunk down in this bastion of serenity, beauty, and delight. Annie and David are wonderful, helpful, and... More

My husband and I stayed with Annie and David for 4 nights while in Syracuse for our niece's graduation. It was a wonderful first time B & B experience. Annie and David are very welcoming and respectful of your privacy. The breakfast was delicious, the company delightful and the dogs made us feel right at home. We look forward to... More

My wife and I stayed at Ophelia's for 3 nights when we were in Syracuse to see family. Annie and David were very accommodating, and we had a great experience! The rooms were air conditioned, and comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast and coffee each day as we looked out on the garden. It was fascinating to talk to Annie and David... More

In fact the wholehouse was filled with lovely antique furniture Felt very spoilt with a lovely cooked breakfast everyday and friendly service. Hosts were very helpful with local information and advice. Definitely... More

Great hosts. Great gardens. Great atmosphere. Great rooms. Old world coziness. Privacy. Peace. Charm. The best B&B I ever stayed in. Quiet neighborhood. A great reason to stay in Syracuse a long time. Paint in the gardens or write in the gardens, or be their to enjoy the calm.

Nice enough, bit bohemian, clean, quiet park like settingsetting but overall not good value for money relative to Hampton or other chains with reliable Wifi and other amenities. Provided good recommendations for dinner in the Armory.
