After much research, and reading all the user reviews about this hotel and others on tripadvisor, we canceled our reservation at Residence Inn (Plainview) and decided to go with the Fairfield Inn in Syosset. This Fairfield Inn is franchised(they probably all are, im not sure). It does a great job in giving everything you need for a comfortable stay. The staffs are well trained and remembers your name, very knowledgeable about the area too. I had a king bed single. The bedroom was small but the bathroom was large. The staff couldn't be nicer, calling to make sure everything was OK, and greeting me every time I entered the hotel. Hotel was clean, convenient, and for me the parking was not an issue, but the lot is small. more

We travel to Long Island yearly and always stay at the Fairfield Inn. The rooms are rather small but they are comfortable. The breakfast provided is adequate and has some tasty pastries.
