Although the party we attended at this hotel was great and the staff mostly tried really hard. The room was one of the most unclean rooms I have ever stayed in. The hotel is not cheap and is not clean. Stay in Mahwah, NJ or Nanuet, NY instead! Did I forget to mention we found a VERY old chicken bone... more

We arrived about 2:30 pm on a Friday after a long trip, expecting to relax by the pool and have a swim. Not only was the pool "Hired out" for the entire weekend by a group having a small party there, but the hotel did not let us into the pool area as well....and there was no other community area... more

The photos online are very deceiving. 20 years ago, this place was probably very nice. I don't think it has had much upkeep in those 20 years. Upon arriving, my family was told to enter through a door on the back of the building. A group of guys were drinking beer out of the back of a pick-up truck in... more

My husband and I stayed here because we were attending his high school reunion which was in the hotel. I had stayed there once back in the late 1980s and back then it was a very nice place . This place smells like a giant swimming pool because the pool is in the middle of the place. You get hit... more

On our way back from Myrtle Beach going to Montreal, we pushed it a little too far and ended up at the Holiday Inn in Suffern. We chose this hotel because we had stayed in another Holiday Inn in Rocky Mount while on the road to MB. Boy was that a mistake!!! We arrived at 1:30 in the morning and... more

NO AC/Air in rooms, was moved 4 times in 2 days, Found bloody sheet/bed in last room, unclean. Had a fire alarm at 2:30 in the morning and 2nd, 3rd floors stunk with electrical smoke our second night and all power was out. had to pack family by flashlight. Our stay just sucked. I will say the desk help tried... more

So many kinds of wrong here, where do I begin. I arrive and it takes 20 minutes to complete checkin because manager kept rudely walking away to chat on the phone. Finally I'm given a key and given vague directions to the third floor. First thing I notice is a huge pool right beyond the lobby which the whole hotel... more

Stay away from this dump ! Musty-gym like odor soon as you walk in should give you a hint. Feeling like you are in a Alfred Hitchock set should also give you a hint. Old TV that most of us have thown away at least 3 or 4 years ago in the rooms. The thermostat didn't work in the room... more

A classic motel. I found it a little odd having the pool where it was, but I liked it being different. The room was a little dated, but was comfortable and air con worked well. The room was also very clean. The main plus for this hotel is its proximity to the Woodbury Common outlets (less than 20 miles). Breakfast... more
