We stayed at the Berkshire Mountain House while in the area for a wedding the weekend of August 8-10, 2014. It was a bit hard to find at first (mostly because Google Maps suggested we take West Road instead of NY-22, the main thoroughfare), so we called Mona to get better directions. She got us back on track and met... More

Beautiful location on a hill at the end of a 1/2 mile driveway. Nice view of the mountains. The room was very nice and the breakfast was terrific. No complaints whatsoever. However I thought the price was a bit steep relative to other B&Bs that I've stayed at in the area in the past few years.

My friend and I stayed two nights here while doing a driving tour of the area. Fall colors, beautiful views from every spot in the building, including our room. Friendly atmosphere and the buffet breakfast was a perfect start to every day. I would be happy to stay here again.

My partner and I and our dogs stayed with Mona over 4th of July weekend. Upon arriving, we were immediately invited to join Mona and her friends for a cookout on the deck. There were a couple of other Inn guests in attendance, and I can't get over how friendly and welcoming everyone was. Just genuinely kinds and wonderful people.... More

My daughter and I stayed here on business for Williams College, which is about 25 minutes away. It was a rainy gray weekend but our room was warm and cozy, with a wall of sliding glass doors looking out to a beautiful rural view. Mona had graciously upgraded our room to the Beethoven Suite. The room and bathroom were clean... More

The Berkshire Mountain House is a lovely Bed & Breakfast located in a quiet place surrounded by the woods and mountains. It's a great place to relax and to enjoy nature. It's a dog friendly Inn and our dog LOVED to explore the woods and the lake that surround the property. When we arrived, my partner and I and our... More

I recommend the Berkshire Mountain House highly. There are many great things about it -- here are my Top 10 favorite things about staying there: 1) The host, Mona, is gracious, fun to talk to, and makes fantastic breakfast for the guests every morning. Her blueberry French Toast with carmel-ized pecans is amazing (and she remembers how much we like... More

Our family of 9, combining 3 generations, enjoyed a perfect weekend at the Meadow House. The house was spotless and set up with lovely welcoming touches in all of the rooms. The owner, Mona, is a most gracious hostess and helpful making suggestions on where to eat and what to do.

We stayed at the Berkshire Mountain House for 2 nights while visiting the Western Mass/Eastern NY area in July and enjoyed it immensely. Mona, the Innkeeper, is very passionate about the area and it was wonderful to talk to her and the other tourists staying at this unique house on 50 secluded acres. We stayed in the one bedroom apartment... More

We had booked to see James Taylor at Tanglewood & ended up here because it was the nearest place that had a vacancy that we liked the look of. The location is stunning (& less than 30 mins to Tanglewood). The view in the summer was fantastic, in the autumn it must be even better. Breakfast was epic, straight out... More
