i was pleasantly surprise to see there are many restaurants right next to hotel. theres applebees , pizza place and chinese food that was out of this world. i loved the fact that they provide free shuttle to the ferry . we stayed in mahattan ny last time and payed double for a room that seemed more like a closet.... more

We've used the Staten Island Hotel a few times now, since it's cheaper staying than right in NYC, and the Staten Island ferry is close to the hotel and free.
