I stayed here on my own before I ran the NY marathon, which starts on Staten Island. Danuta is a wonderful host and really looked after me and fellow guests. She made sure we had a huge array of delicious food for breakfast and I enjoyed a few slices of her yummy pumpkin cake during the day too. The rooms... More

Lovely home on the Island with beautiful rooms, a gracious host and wonderful breakfast. We stayed on the second floor in a large room with comfortable bed and period furniture. Denuta, our hostess was gracious and helpful and has thought of "everything" you might need for your comfort.

The area was questionable but we had no problems throughout our stay. The location was close to the ferry and some retail establishments. The rooms were beautifully decorated with period pieces and the breakfast was unbelievable! Too much food actually! The innkeeper did everything to make our stay welcoming, our room was comfortable and clean, the bed was so comfortable.... More

We stayed with the accommodating Danuta (the lovely owner) who was kind enough to get out of bed and let us in when we arrived after 9pm. Her B&B is impeccably kept with many gorgeous period touches. Our bed was crisply made and very comfy. She cooked a fantastic breakfast for us (we should have gotten a recipe for that... More

my mum & I, we spent 5 days at Danuta's B&B. The place is indeed beautiful and so well looked after. We felt at home and she made us feel very welcome and was always eager to please. Breakfast was very good and in abundance! excellent. the trip to Manhattan took probably in total just under 1 hour door to... More

The Victorian B&B enhanced our visit to New York City. Our room was comfortable and very clean, Danuta pampered us with wonderful breakfasts, conversation and servicing our room. The ride on the ferry to Lower Manhattan was relaxing and scenic(Statue of Libery, Ellis Island). We would definitely return to the Victorian B&B.

We recently returned from an east coast trip. Several days were spent in Staten Island and my husband researched and booked a three night stay at the Victorian Bed and Breakfast of Staten Island. We found our room to be spacious, comfortable, and lovely. The bath had a superior shower and all of the comforts of home. Breakfast was consistently... More

My husband and I stayed here last weekend for my reunion. I have stayed at B&B's before but was never really impressed by them. The Victorian on Staten Island is a different story however. The place is beautiful and spotless. The bed is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on and we both could not stop bragging about... More

My wife and I found the Victorian B&B in the internet after quite a while of research and booked directly. Contact was already very nice beforehand, everything went well and uncomplicated. Danuta, the landlady, received us very nicely and gave us a beautiful room furnished in victorian style (as is the whole house) and an own bathroom. Everything was well... More

03.Oct 2007 We have just returned from a 2 week stay in the USA and spent the first 3 nights in the Victorian B & B at Taylor Street on Staten Island. The Proprietor, Danuta was a wonderful host and her breakfasts were absolutely delicious, very varied and plentiful. We certainly enjoyed her company and found her very interesting and... More
