We stayed here for a night after traveling for over 20Hr's. Danuta the owner was so helpful, to the point she dropped us of at a local restaurant for some dinner and came and picked us up afterwards(free). not many propitiators would do that. The room was large and very clean and comfy. Danuta wasn't only the host, but a... More

Very nice B&B. Very welcoming, hospitable, interesting and knowledgeable hostess, Danuta. 1850-ish architecture. Many original pieces. Wonderful breakfast. Comfy bed. Clean. Free on-street parking. Slight noise problem with radiator (Should be an easy fix). Felt safe but not too sure of the North Shore Staten island area in general.

We recently made a trip to Staten Island to visit our son and we booked into this delightful place solely on reviews that we saw on TripAdvisor. We were NOT disappointed. This house has so much history, and Danuta who runs this beautiful home knows more about where she lives than most of us who were born here do. The... More

I have been to New York a few times before, but this is the first time in Staten Island and the first time in a Bed & Breakfast. I chose Victorian B&B after reading all the good reviews at Tripadvisor, and I don't regret at all. The B&B is very beautiful and decorated to it's finest. The rooms are very... More

We were there from August 29-September 01st. I've been to New York a few times and this was my best stay ever. You will meet Danuta, which is such an amazing host and a wonderful woman. Staying in her house for a few days made me feel like I was coming back home every night and that made me feel... More

We have been already a few times at New York, this is the first time in a Bed & Breakfast. Great helpful service, large breakfast, lots of interesting tips. You can meet lots of different guests and have a nice talk with them, but the lady owner Danuta, has a rich experience, knows a lot of history of victorian houses,... More

We chose to stay with Danuta after seeing her mentioned on a list of places to stay in NYC on a budget. Nothing about the B&B feels budget! Every morning we were greeted by a huge breakfast, ranging from English muffins to bagels to eggs and bacon to freshly baked cakes to fruit salad. All shared between a maximum of... More

This hotel offers the perfect experience. We felt as if we were really at home here. Danuta is the perfect host, the breakfast is the BEST so much so that we hardly ate another thing during our stay. The rooms are perfect, the beds are perfect, the wifi is perfect. The bus stop to the staten island ferry is about... More

If you really want to have a Victorian-style-experience you should go for it. Only a few rooms are available. We had a warm, old stylish bedroom; the bathroom and toilet had to be shared by two other guestrooms. Danuta, the landlady, was extremely friendly and helped us as much as she could: she drove us for dinner to her favourite... More
