More than expectation. Check-in was the fastest. Staff was the friendliest. Rooms were very clean. Close to all main attractions. Next to beach. Took a walk along the beach. Very upscale restaurant and night club near by on the beach. Free breakfast. Coffee all day. Room was spacious with microwave, refrigerator and stove. Overall, better than a 5 star hotel.

Stayed 2 nights... all of the excellent reviews here applied to our visit. Staff very friendly, helpful. Rooms very clean. Breakfast bar well stocked. Coast Guard exchange nearby. Great for seeing New York city without driving by taking the free Staten Island ferry to Manhattan (runs 24/7 every 1/2 hour).

Absolutely fantastic We came over as part of a race team following our completion of Race Across America. As an Ex British Army serviceman we have thoroughly enjoyed the courteous service the staff have provided and the location to mainland NYC is perfect. Davie & Liz

First, I would like to thank Patricia Rodriguez. Every time I called to check on reservations she was always patient and kind and went out of her way to accommodate our least minute request. Because of her, we were able to have a once in a lifetime trip and see American Pharoah win the Triple Crown. Those kind of memories... More

My husband and I recently visited New York for the weekend and stayed at the Navy Lodge in Staten Island. I was presently surprised at the hotel. The location is great since it is out of the hustle and bustle with a 10 minute ride to the Staten Island Ferry where you can get over to NY for free! There... More

We visited NYC for three days using the Navy Lodge as our quarters. Parking there is free and it's a 15 minute ride to the ferry terminal. Parking is $8.00 a day and the ferry ride to Battery Park is free. Regarding the Navy Lodge, it is clean, orderly and priced just right. Free breakfast goodies are offered daily and... More

First of all, its close to Manhattan island. You can use parking lot of lodge or park your car ferry station only 8$. Compare to Manhettan its too cheap. And rooms clean, well decorated... Only one thing could be better, breakfast... It was simple; muffin, yoghurt and crunch... But its a good place for your NYC trip...

I really searched around New York city to find a hotel for our family vacation. I stumbled upon the Navy Lodge and thought I would give it a try(mostly because of its price). Gosh , what a great stay!!! Rooms were just updated and SO clean! I could smell the freshness as soon as we opened the door. Rooms are... More

We opted to stay here due to the great rates they offer and the big plus is that we could bring our dog for a nominal fee. It is not fancy and has no big frills, but for us only bring there to sleep, it was perfect. The complimentary breakfast was sufficient even though there was not a huge variety... More

great hotel, small but it does its purpose. It's a quick ferry ride over to New York and Staten Island has some great local restaurants. Staff was fantastic, nice and very helpful! Helped with suggestions and printing of our Broadway tickets that we forgot to print before we came!
