We visited NYC for three days using the Navy Lodge as our quarters. Parking there is free and it's a 15 minute ride to the ferry terminal. Parking is $8.00 a day and the ferry ride to Battery Park is free. Regarding the Navy Lodge, it is clean, orderly and priced just right. Free breakfast goodies are offered daily and... More

First of all, its close to Manhattan island. You can use parking lot of lodge or park your car ferry station only 8$. Compare to Manhettan its too cheap. And rooms clean, well decorated... Only one thing could be better, breakfast... It was simple; muffin, yoghurt and crunch... But its a good place for your NYC trip...

I really searched around New York city to find a hotel for our family vacation. I stumbled upon the Navy Lodge and thought I would give it a try(mostly because of its price). Gosh , what a great stay!!! Rooms were just updated and SO clean! I could smell the freshness as soon as we opened the door. Rooms are... More

We opted to stay here due to the great rates they offer and the big plus is that we could bring our dog for a nominal fee. It is not fancy and has no big frills, but for us only bring there to sleep, it was perfect. The complimentary breakfast was sufficient even though there was not a huge variety... More

great hotel, small but it does its purpose. It's a quick ferry ride over to New York and Staten Island has some great local restaurants. Staff was fantastic, nice and very helpful! Helped with suggestions and printing of our Broadway tickets that we forgot to print before we came!

5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 weeks ago I had occasion to visit Staten Island to attend an Army Military Ball and chose the Navy Lodge, on Staten Island, for my lodging. Since this was my first visit to the Lodge in two years, I was immediately impressed with updates that have been made to the grounds, lobby and rooms,... More

Stayed at the Navy Lodge New York last week for business. The place is tremendous, much better than the Hampton Inn and the price is terrific. If you are part of DoD what a deal for business or just vacation. New rooms are outstanding, and I enjoyed the breakfast. Best of all is the staff is friendly and the hotel... More

The rooms have clearly been recently renovated at this lodge. The color scheme is teal and gray- which I love! We stayed in a 2 double bed room, and it was extremely clean and very nice. The kitchenette had an apartment-size fridge, and everything you'd need to stay in for a few meals and save some money. The location is... More

We stayed for a total of 9 nights. Very clean. Nice place. Friendly, accommodating staff and front desk. Laundry (coin operated) in the hotel. Small, not hot breakfasts available, but all rooms have a 'full' kitchenette as well. Commisary close for food and extras. Price is fabulous! We stayed here in 2001 also, and it was much nicer this time... More

This hotel is in a nice area and family friendly. This is the perfect place if you want to stay close to New York City but don't want to stay in the city due to the heavy and expensive traffic/ parking you may come across. I had a great experience on my recent stay with my husband and 2 children.... More
