My wife and I stayed here for a NYC weekend getaway. Don't come here if you're looking for a luxurious five-star with all the amenities. This is an old house, and it shows. We stayed here for the 5 Boro Bike Tour. It's a mile away from the Ferry (which is FREE all of the time) and there are safe bike lanes all the way there and back. We booked both rooms and had the second floor to ourselves. We left at 5 AM to get the early ferry, but Miriam was up... More

My husband and I stayed at the Hartshorne House while attending a wedding in Staten Island. It was close to the venue so we opted for it because the owner told us we could bring our dog at no extra charge. The house is very old and pretty creaky in places but Miriam (the owner) is very hospitable and friendly.... More

This B&B is a home built after the Civil War and has 2 simple clean bedrooms, a lovely dinning room and a nice wrap around porch to relax on. Being on Staten Island for the 5 Boro NYC Bike Tour made it convenient as it's a 10 minute bike ride to the Staten Island Ferry but he real high point... More
