During the week of Christmas, when all the other hotels had really expensive rates, this little gem was a steal of a deal. The rooms are nicely appointed. Internet access was wonderful. Everything was clean (A+ to housekeeping and management) and the hotel is about 40 minutes from the city. Plus...Waffles! We were visiting family nearby and some attractions in... more

We stayed at this hotel on Columbus Day weekend. The location is perfect for both visiting West Point (as we did for a football game) and as an inexpensive way to access New York City (via Metro North at Tarrytown). The hotel is also very close to the Palisades Mall. While it is a pain to find off of the... more

Clean, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are in good repair. Wi-fi connection was very good. Overall noise level was low, occasionally you could hear a screaming child (poor parenting), but overall the other guests were quiet. You can spend $40 more at the Montvale Courtyard by Marriott 10 minutes down the road, but why? Continental breakfast was lousy, but I... more

The hotel appreciates your comments! We have worked hard to be priced fairly for this market place. Just like you, other Marriott costumers will see that we are the best deal in town! Our breakfast is some thing we are always working on and we will try and keep it fresh and updated.

Great value

This was our second stay here to visit Nyack college and family in the area. Price very reasonable for the location, very convenient to everything. Staff polite and very helpful! We will be back next year for sure! Rooms are immaculate. Breakfast included. Lovely small pool. One of the quietest hotels I have ever visited--both times we stayed here--it is... more

Jul 27, 2009 | Trip type: Business

Stayed for a week in July at this hotel for business. It was clean and had a fridge and microwave in the room. It included a continental "plus" buffet breakfast which was OK for a health conscious eater, no bacon, eggs, etc. It was clean and the front desk staff were quite friendly and accommodating. The down side was the... more

The hotel appreciates your feedback! We have seen that the location can some times be confusing for guests not familiar to the area. We are regularly adding signage to the market place and hope that we can solve this. We recently added door protecters to eliminate some of those noises you mentioned. Our breakfast is something that we are always...

Stayed here 1 night with wife and 7 year old son. The hotel is hidden behind the Spring Valley Marketplace, behind the Target. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The room walls were thin and it was easy to hear TV and alarm clock noises from next door. The parking lot also had... more

I just came from New york and stayed for five days in the fairfield Inn, Spring Valley. I got my money's worth because the staff was very friendly and polite, the rooms were very clean, the parking was free and we had a very delicious breakfast included in the price. Nothing to complain about. I will return to this hotel... more

My husband and I stayed here on the last leg home from Florida. It was the 2nd Fairfield Inn on the trip back. We were greeted warmly at the front desk and given cookies and water as a welcoming gift and steered to the hot coffee. The room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. It's in a very busy, urban... more

This hotel is conveniently located off exit 14 on the NYS Thruway. I stayed at this hotel over the Thanksgiving weekend while visiting relatives in Nanuet The rooms are clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy, but all the basic amenities you would expect including HBO. It was a nice touch getting the morning paper dropped in front of your door each... more

This hotel is a great, no frills business hotel for the Westchester & Rockland county area. I had a meeting in Tarrytown and searched Tripadvisor for hotels. As usual, I hit paydirt...staying across the river in Spring Valley saved me about $70/night, and the Spring Valley Fairfield Inn is as good a 2 star business hotel as I've ever seen.... more
