Second time at Shorecrest B & B...first for my husband. We spent a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend enjoying our lovely room, sitting by the fireplace with a cup of tea and a good book, walks on the beach, holiday activities in the historical district of Southold and the great company of our host, Marillyn. We made a couple of new friends... More

My husband and I spent a perfect nite at the lovely water s edge roomy and beautifully decorated cottage across the street from the Shorecrest main B n B. Large kitchen window let the early morning light open the day for us and the same window offered a view of the stars at nite. Easy walk along the shore outside... More

What a lovely little spot. Right across from the beach, also minutes from EVERYTHING. Don't pay the Greenport prices... you are 5 minutes at most from downtown Greenport and it's such a nice location. We stayed in the Rose Room w/jacuzzi tub. Cookies and tea in the evening and a super delish breakfast. They also accommodate dietary needs if you... More

My wife and I stayed at the Shorecrest recently as an anniversary getaway and to do the wine trail. Marilyn and her sons are warm and welcoming. Although check-in is simi-mandated to a short halh hour period, the timing worked well for us. The house is warm and very convenient to sighseeing and the beach (although a bit too cold... More

Purchased a Living Social Deal for a few days away at this lovely B & B in August..When we arrived we noticed how beautifully the house and garden was cared for. Marilyn was welcoming and offered us a terrific breakfast each morning. We were very comfortable and loved the location. Great restuarants, pretty beach convieniently down the road and close... Received gift certificate to Shorecrest about 2-1/2 years ago, stayed during a cold windy weekend in January and loved every minute of it....from our warm greeting by host Marilyn, to afternoon tea in the library, to the sumptuous bedding, and even the quirky little bathroom. Ended up buying a house just minutes away on the other side of the pond,... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at Shorecrest in early August and it was nothing short of a wonderful lodging experience. Marilyn, our hostess, is a delightful woman who will respect your privacy as well as converse with you if you are the sociable type. There are several rooms to choose from, each giving you a little something different. Some rooms... More

I Had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before or knew much about Long Island. My boyfriend turned 30 at the end of June and I wanted to do something different. After reading reviews of countless places, Shorecrest won my vote and I was overjoyed from the moment I walked in. Marilyn helped and was available for anything that... More

This was our second time staying in the Shorecrest B and B. We went in the fall of 2011 and decided to go in the summer. It is located in a great location. You can walk to the beach and watch the sunset. The rooms are all beautiful and the breakfast is delicious. Thank you for everything Marilyn. We will... More

Thank you for this lovely review, Maria! I couldn't be happier to hear that your first go-around with us impressed you enough to bring you back for round two. Of course, the North Fork brings a little something different in all seasons -- best to experience them all! We'll look forward to seeing you again the next time you're in... More

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Shorecrest B&B this memorial day weekend. The rooms and ambiance are great, there are plenty of books to distract yourself if your girlfriend is not ready, and the breakfasts were incredible. The place has wonderful gardens, and Marylin knows the North Fork very well. Her reccomendations were great!

So happy to hear that we were able to help make your holiday weekend such a success, Miguel! There's just nothing like enjoying an afternoon in our garden, is there? Please do pass along my thanks to your girlfriend as well -- it was absolutely our pleasure to host you two and we'll hope to see you again soon! I... More
