The family planned to spend memorial day week end in southhampton, we booked 1 room with 2 queen size beds for 3 nights, a month and a half before our trip. On memorial week end Friday, My wife had an emergency to attend so we psotponed our departure till Saturday. We called the hotel to tell them we will arrive... more

I stayed at this inn for a two-day business meeting recently. My room was very nice -- spacious, a very comfortable queen bed, a seating area and a desk for my laptop. The breakfast was fine, the meeting room was exactly right, and every one of the staff members I encountered was nice, polite, helpful and friendly. We paid a... more

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and had a terrible experience. The wall paper in the room was hanging off the wall, the rugs were stained and the chair in our room was ripped. The dust under the bed looked as though it had never been vaccumed. The bathroom tile was missing grout in several areas and... more

We just returned from a week-end at the Souhampton Inn. This is a hidden gem. We had a charming king bedded room on the first floor. The bathrooms are a nice size with an old world charm. From the Inn you can walk into the quaint streets of Southampton with many restaurants and good shopping. We were able to sit... more

This place is a dump considering what we paid ($369/night). Walked into the lobby to find discolored wallpaper due to water damage and a large potted plant propped up with a rock - first class impression all the way. The first room the "friendly" staff attempted to put us in was at the back of the hotel right near what... more

After booking I read so many poor reviews here that I was very concerned. Surprisingly we had a very nice stay. Traveled with our 3 year old and stayed 5 nights. He had fun in the pool and running around the grassy area with toys. The kids play room is limited, but great in a pinch to keep him occupied.... more

Just as most places on Earth, this Inn has its drawbacks. Although I payed $300 for a night, I was not under the impression that this place was paradise... the pictures on the website surely do not give the impression. The Hamptons are about one thing, especially during the summertime, and that is money. Anybody who says the Hamptons are... more

Boy I wish I had read these reviews before I booked a room here. We were up all night long with the noise from above us. It sounded like these people were marching around in Army boots. It didn't stop until after 4:45 am and by then we were exhaused. To pay $229 a night to take a shower and... more

January 18, 2007: After my wife and I visited the Southampton Inn she booked us for the New Year's package which included a dinner, a party and a room at the Inn for 12/31. We signed on for an extra day and came in a day early. Everything that people wrote prior to our visit turned out to be accurate:... more

My husband and I stayed at the Southampton Inn for a weekend and an issue with transportation that could have ruined a long planned vacation. The General Manager, Paula Lewis stepped in to accommodate us with professionalism and grace that one rarely sees in customer service. The staff also was friendly and courteous. We have recommended the Inn to all... more
