So many bad things were written so determined and pretentious and passionately that we had to give the hotel a chance. In fact, the hotel is not one of the estates, okay?, but it is well located in an exquisite village and it's for only a night or two, not for a lifetime. This motel provides exceptional location. It is 1/2 a block to the main drag of Southampton. The establishment is also incredibly hospitable to dogs of any size, provided your dog is well behaved and not a rampant barker. My experience with this inn is different from most of the negative reviews. We were in need for a break from NYC and found the Southampton Inn 'worked' for a quick getaway. My wife and I stayed there for 5-days. What a mistake.
