As other reviews report, this place is right on the busy highway and is noisy. The rooms are OK, but not great. Worst part is that I had asked for a confirmation when I made the reservation to confirm rate, etc. and never got one. When I checked in and checked out, no paperwork at all. They just said "you... more

THis was the worst overnight experience I've ever had in my life. I arrived to find a drunken host who didn't expect me and explained upon my arrival that he gave ny room away. (He tried charging double the price quoted to me which thankfully was declined by my credit card company. ) There was a room next to the... more

July 10, 2009 my partner and I arrived with a friend and our two miniature Schnauzers in tow. We spent 3 delightful nights in a top floor room. The room was clean, bright, spacious, private, decorated nicely, secure and was perfect for us. The staff is generous, warm and very accommodating. At two in the morning we wanted Ice Cream... more

The address is at corner of Route 27 and Mecox. The rooms are about 20 feet from highway - Constant loud traffic noise. If you book this place you will be disappointed. Don't be fooled - Stay away. When we arrived af 5pm the rooms were dirty (sheets bathroom etc). We never even unpacked our bags. We walked in, heard... more

We stayed in the Hunt Room - arguably the most spacious room in the house and had no complaints with either the staff or the service. The ambiance is familial - one is encouraged to make oneself at home in the best possible way. The tone is Bohemian. On both occasions we've stayed there the mix was heavy toward writers... more

talk about changes! this place had been a favorite of ours for years. but last year they had a flood................which is something that 300 year old houses do occasionally. this spring, it has been completely rebuilt and restored...........and it's a beauty. everything, including a new staff, could not have been nicer! it really is the way it looks in the... more

Booked our weekend through the inn directly. Reservations gent very nice. We had several problems during our stay and when we contacted the owner, he left a voice mail message saying how upset he was. He responded to one of our e-mails saying he really did want to talk with us and would definately follow up. He even went so... more

My wife told me she thinks this is the worst place by far we have stayed at in our 18 years together. I linked to their website via a Hamptons B&B website and saw pictures that made the facilities and rooms appear very attractive. Unfortunately, the pictures are also very misleading. In addition, the reservations person, a bizarre sounding person,... more

This was perhaps the worst place I have ever stayed. When we arrived a rain storm happened, and the water was literally leaking throughout the house...the put about 10 pails out to catch the water, and made no apologies. Furthermore, the staff was mean and the food was horrible. They even refused to take our bags to our room. The... more
