They had a great afternoon tea with wine and snacks. The snacks were very fresh and tasty. Breakfast in the... More

My husband I and recently stayed here for two nights during the week. We had the entire house to ourselves, which was simply amazing. The staff including John and Skip, the inn keeper were very helpful and friendly. They instantly made us feel at home and answered all our questions and made great suggestions, since it was our first time... More

My boyfriend and I were looking for a short weekend get away outside of the city and were very happy to come across the 1708 House. I made the reservation over the phone and was given a great deal of information about my room options from the inn keeper. We informed them that we would be checking in quite late... More

My husband, ten year old son and I stayed at the 1708 house on Thankgiving night. We stayed in Room #2 which was a two bedroom suite with a private bathroom. We drove out Thanksgiving morning, arrived around 1:30pm and our room was ready. My husband and son were relaxing when I went down to look around. There was a... More

My wife and I were here for our honeymoon in Oct '13. We fell in love with the place and the staff. Linda was very informative and helpful. Anything we needed she readily assisted with. We will definitely be coming back in the future. We highly recommend it to anyone.

We have stayed at the 1708 House several times and have always had a wonderful experience. The accommodations are clean and spacious (in particular, room 9). We also enjoy the complimentary wine and snack in the afternoon after a long day out enjoying the beautiful East end of Long Island. The breakfast is also very nice. Be sure to check... More

This bed and breakfast is so cute and the staff are so nice. The woman who works the front desk is so friendly and took the time to tour the house with us. She recommended restaurants in the area that were really great. The location is excellent, everything is within walking distance. The owner was also very pleasant to talk... More

This is a charming B&B in the perfect location in Southampton. We stayed in Room C in the 21st Century Annex. The rooms and house are definitely old-fashioned, but the bathroom was modern, the bed was comfortable, and the linens were great. Our room was small, but there are lots of common areas to enjoy both inside and out. We... More
