Our room was small with extremely outdated fittings - repaired to some extent but overall the place felt shabby and in need of serious work. The location however is great. The property is large and had plenty of parking and facilities. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I felt it wasn't worth the money but perhaps I am naive... More

As a Swiss fellow guest put it, "time stands still here...sometimes for the good...sometimes for the bad". This place is eclectic, but it is very much in need of major renovations. The hotel was mostly empty during our stay yet, they gave us a room that was very small and dark. With an air conditioning unit that roared and a television... More

Maybe we were unlucky, but our room was pretty sad. The room itself was quite small given the price and the bathroom was in serious need of refurbishment. From the pictures you get the impression that the decor is quirky; it's not quirky, it's junky and tacky. The chess board in the gathering room, meant to look inviting, was a... More

This inn is close to town, within walking distance, which is about the only thing that is great about it. I read reviews prior to coming for the labor day weekend, even though they were not great, I decided to go anyway. It seems the owner/manager reads them too and comments on how old or rustic this place is, but... More

Ono talk about it e of the best kept secrets of the Hampton's, this Inn is simply charming. The people are extremely friendly, they make sure you are taken care of from the minute you check in till the time you leave. I was greeted with a warm friendly smile, some one even helped with our bags and then the... More

The accomodations were the worst we have ever experienced for $500/night. The mattress was uncomfortable, the bathroom ventilation was so loud that it was shocking to find it in that condition, the decor was the worst we had ever seen, and the morning breakfast /coffee was not available until 8:30 am so we had to go out to breakfast to... The 4/5 is for the location and the people. The style is somewhat eclectic and traditional. The people are so accommodating and friendly. Our stay was shortened because we needed more kitchen facilities than those available to us having 4 girls. But for somebody who is not looking to make meals, it would be ideal.

I travel very frequently for business all over the world and I have unfortunately stayed in some dives. This place takes the cake mainly because it is so expensive. At $50 a night this place is bad but at $650 it is a travesty. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. I had to give this hotel... More

We moved them to one of our best rooms and it’s obviously not their cup of tea. We are not a large chain hotel where every room is the same with two double beds and marble bathrooms. Most of our guests return for the ambiance of casual elegance that we have created. Yes, the few hotels in our ideal location... More

We recently had the opportunity to spend a few days at the Latch. It is ideally located and within easy walking distance to everywhere and transportation is readily available to other activities. The Latch is a rustic setting with a wide range of accommodations to meet all your needs. Our room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed... More

This was our first visit to the enchanting Village Latch Inn. The location was perfect. Walking distance to the village shops, delicious restaurants and the most beautiful beach. We sat in the garden while enjoying a continental breakfast looking out at the well maintained five acre estate. You can enjoy free tennis, a large swimming pool and free wifi. Our... More
