This B&B is a lovely place to relax and enjoy a quiet time. It is close to Sodus Point village at Lake Ontario. We were there just one night but couldn't have asked for better hospitality and personal attention. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom met all needs, (clean, soft towels, wonderful lighting, several amenities for one's toilette, a night... More

My husband surprised me for our 35th Anniversary by taking me to this beautiful B&B. It has such a lovely setting and the history is amazing. It is a cobblestone house built in the early 1800s with ties to the Underground Railroad. Belinda, the innkeeper, gave us the background story and a tour of the Inn. You feel like you... More

We stayed here for only one night. Luckily there was a room available as we were on "whim" of a road trip. We stayed in the larger room with the private bath. It was spacious and comfortable. The couch in the room was not very "pretty" but it was clean and comfortable. The grounds are nice for some light walking.... More

Thank you Dawn for staying at Maxwell Creek Inn Bed & Breakfast and your kind words. However, ALL of our rooms DO have private baths; No one shares a bath. Although two of our guest rooms our guest do have to step just outside of their room for the private bath with locks on the doors and we provide robes... More

We stayed at the Maxwell Creek Inn B&B only one night because we were going to a wedding in the evening and didn't want to drive the hour back home after the reception. The setting of the Inn is beautiful, surrounded by farms and orchards on back country roads. It's a lovely old house, carefully furnished with many antiques and... More

Our stay at Maxwell Creek Inn Bed & Breakfast was one of complete relaxation. Belinda was a fantastic host besides being a fantastic cook. We stayed in the Gaylord Suite which was extremely clean and well kept. The view of Maxwell Creek was marvelous. We even saw some deer come out at dusk and then again early in the morning.... More

Had to be there by 6 PM. Who's vacation is this? Overbooked and obtained us another Inn to stay at for our 2nd night. Inn keeper did upgrade our room but no expense to her for it was vacant. A major inconvenience to seniors (we carry medical equipment). I think she should of discounted our room further and offered a... More

Cindy, I am sorry that I did not meet your expectations. Although your reservations were last minute I did admit to my mistake in overbooking your second night immediately. Most hotels or B&B's would not go to the extent I did to find you other nearby accommodations. But I did. As far as your boyfriend having a bad back you... More

Stepping through the front door takes you back even if you never lived in those times. The furnishings, the quiet ambiance of the rooms and a pleasant, cheerful hostess who knows the history of the house and surrounding area and enjoys telling you about it. I've lived not far from here all my life and even learned historical things I... More

Thank you for your kind words. It was delightful to meet you and Dan last weekend. Some interesting conversation too. The next visit I hope you are able to book one of the rooms on the backside of the house overlooking Maxwell Bay and part of Lake Ontario. Hope you have a wonderful summer. More

Had a wonderful 2 night stay at Maxwell Creek while celebrating our 58th. anniversary. Belinda was a great hostess and the B & B was charming and decorated with the 1800's period of the house. Spent some time petting Preston the stately poodle in residence. Would highly recommend for a stay to get away from the rush of everyday life.... More

It was a great date night after having dinner in Sodus Point we retired to Maxwell Creek Inn B & B. Belinda (owner) met us at the door and greeted us like family. The owners of Maxwell Creek wonderful people. Rooms were clean and kept well. Was not able to stay for breakfast but when the owner understood that we would not be there she went out of the way to ensure that we had breakfast in the community fridge that we were able to heat up in the microwave.
