This was our home base for a reunion with friends and we were extremely pleased. The hotel itself made you feel like you were in some cosmopolitan city, yet very safe and secure with private on site parking at o additional fee. Room was well appointed with excellent lighting and sufficient seating for 4 along with a microwave and a... More

We stayed at this hotel for one night traveling through NY. Skaneateles NY is a pretty little town right on the lake. The Packwood House is a sister property of the Sherwood Inn. If you can book in the Inn it is much nicer! The Packwood House is a 3 buildings down the street, very safe and clean. The breakfast... More

We enjoyed our stay here but it was quite pricey compared to other places we stayed at that were in more central Finger Lakes areas. The room was nice, we had a balcony which had a somewhat obstructed view. The complimentary breakfast was very nice - a good touch and way more than I expected in variety and excellence of... More

Just had 1 night here on a work trip, but it was very comfortable and modern. My room looked out across the road towards the lake and although I left the window open all night for some fresh air, I was not disturbed by too much noise. The room was large and clean with a wonderfully comfortable king bed. Some... More

My friend's wedding reception was at the Sherwood Inn, but my Dad always stays at the Packwood when he has bank meetings, so we stayed there. It was kind of a neat little place, where if you weren't looking for it - you'd never know it was there. It was incredibly safe (you had to use a key to get... More

We had a lovely, comfortable room on the third floor with a balcony over looking the lake. One night, we had dinner on the balcony. Very enjoyable, very comfortable furniture with a wonderful view. We kept the balcony door open when we were in the room for fresh air - a hotel treat. Even though they are on the highway... More

We have been traveling for 3 weeks plus by the time we reached this grand place. We tried for the main sherwood inn but all the rooms were taken, in the end this was the better choice for us, more updated. It is a short walk to the main hotel and the good dinning there along with the morning breakfast.... More

The hotel is beautiful, location is ideal. We had no problem at check in at Sherwood, and parking was easy with the parking garage under the hotel. Check in is 3, check out 11. You can park on the street to check in at Sherwood, as you will be directed to the parking garage after you have checked in and... More

The Packwood House is a sister property of the Sherwood Inn right down the street. We read the reviews and chose this property due to comments and the more modern look of the amenities, as opposed to the more historical Sherwood Inn. And the only reason we chose modern over the old style inn was that we often stay in... More
