This was our first trip to Shelter Island and we loved it. The hotel grounds are big and beautiful, plenty of outdoor sitting and the pool area is just as lovely. Our room was cozy, clean and everyday we got fresh towels. I did find a few pro's and con's with hotel, but nothing too major to keep me from... More

My husband and I spent a night here and loved it. The hotel is warm and inviting. We were greeted with a smile and everyone at the hotel is very accommodating. Front desk were extremely helpful in providing chairs and umbrellas to the beach. You can even get the beach permit at the front desk. Best part - Sunset beach... More

Shelter Island is amazing and we couldn't have enjoyed our stay at La Maison Blanche Hotel anymore. My fiancee and I stayed in a King Deluxe room, which was gorgeous, well-decorated and comfortable. The hotel itself was very charming - it has a lovely pool area, a great restaurant, a bocce court and a very nice bar. The bar was... More

My wife and I spent two nights here and loved it. Rooms were clean and cozy. Back patio and pool are great. Amazing sushi and food at a lively yet comfortable bar and restaurant. Walking distance to Sunset Beach Hotel. New Thai Food Menu was fantastic. Congrats to La Maison Blanche on all levels!

What fabulous memories I have of my 3 days spent here. The free bikes to explore the island were an added bonus. The rooms were everything we expected to find in The Hamptons. Coming from Australia this hit all my wishes....

We stayed at La Maison Blanche for an anniversary getaway on Shelter Island. The hotel is lovely and the location is great. We also enjoyed dinner in the new restaurant at the hotel, but since they're new the staff is still working out some glitches. Overall, it was good though. The only disappointing experience was the crowd of obnoxious college... More

As we drove up to La Maison Blanche we knew we found a gem. It started when we walked into the lobby and we were greeted with a smile and it sent the tone for our entire stay. The room was a Queen room and it was spotless and tranquil. The bathroom was beautiful. The restaurant Katana located on the... More

My husband and I absolutely adore Shelter Island and La Maison Blanche is the prefetch place to stay. We have stayed several times, the rooms are warm comforting and clean. We will continue to stay here as often as we can. I highly recommend staying here.

We recently stayed for 1 night in La Maison Blanche. It was our first time travelling to Shelter Island and we didn’t quite know what to expect. La Maison Blanche is a beautiful small hotel located close to Sunset beach and Shelter Island Heights. The rooms are very clean and beautifully appointed. We were looking for a quiet relaxing getaway... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at La Maison Blanche over Valentine's Day weekend. Given the snowstorm and the fact that it was off season to begin with, it was understandably quiet. We were generously upgraded to a better room without having to ask. Kathy, the hotel manager, could not have been more welcoming, gracious and lovely. Normally we stay at... More
