My husband and I decided to go to shelter Island on a short vacation. We were looking for a quiet and relaxing place to stay. We have a two month old and needed some quality time together. The house on chase creek didn't disappoint! The house isn't fancy but it is clean and well kept! It is a beach house... More

My friend treated me to a girl's birthday getaway at The House on Chase Creek. It was charming, quaint and spotless! The view, especially from the sun room, is gorgeous. My favorite parts were having coffee on the porch swing and lazing in the hammock by the water. Our room was very large and pretty. It reminded me of my... More

My husband and I go to the House on Chase Creek every year for our anniversary. We love the beauty and quaintness of the property and Bill is the most charming and helpful host one could ask for! The pretty rooms are always clean and comfortable and the breakfast is always nice, especially if Bill makes his wonderful banana bread.... More

We stayed here for two nights, staying in the suite. The house is beautiful, the neighborhood charming and relaxing, and Bill is a fantastic host. Upon our arrival, he spent a while walking us through the sites and restaurants of Shelter Island, as we had never been there before. This was super helpful, and definitely made our stay on the... We had a very pleasant stay at the House. Although we chose the smallest room it was very adequate and was clean and comfortable. Bill was outstanding as a host and although breakfast was a relatively simple affair it was certainly enough to energize us for the day ahead. Definitely recommended.

would definitely stay here again! already thinking about planning a fall trip. came here with my girlfriend for one night over memorial day weekend. Bill, the proprietor, was extremely responsive, helpful and accommodating both by phone in advance of our trip and once we arrived. the house is on a very quiet street facing a creek, the room we stayed... My twin sister and I spent two lovely nights at Chase Creek B&B. We had such a nice, relaxing visit (celebrating our birthday!). We stayed in a delightful suite. The bed was very comfortable and the suite was roomy, comfy, and had a great fireplace. The owner, Bill, even had the fire all ready - all we had to do... More

Romantic winter stay. Many restaurants were closed on SI, but 18 Bay had just opened after the winter break (it was fab BTW) and the Something(?) Tomato restaurant 2 mins walk up the road is open all year round. (Got to mention here, HoCC is a B&B not a self-catering apartment.) Bill, the owner, was helpful and friendly, grabbing a... More

My husband and I have been to Shelter Island many times and thought that it would be fun to stay at a different hotel this time. We tried the house at Chase Creek. First its location was delightful, although we went in the winter – it was nice but the time to go to fully enjoy the setting would have... More

Too many B&Bs are owned by the congenitally anxious. Not so Bill, the owner of the House on Chase Creek. If you need something, he'll help but he's happy to leave you alone to enjoy your stay. Breakfast was OK. Rooms are clean and nicely furnished. Dinner recommendations were perfect. We had a wonderful reunion with Shelter Island after 20... More
