Across street from abandoned property, musty smelling, creepy decor. My companion checked the shower immediately upon entering the room -- thoughts of Bates Motel! Black velvet bedspread. A million miles from civilization. If this is your thing, go for it!

Currently we are in a resurgance and renovation with many new businesses and visitors to our great little community. This does mean... More

This is a very nice and comfortable place to stay right off Route 20 in the New York Cherry Valley area. The hosts, Kelly and Bruce are very helpful and serve a very nice breakfast. I would recommend this B&B.

Located in the quaint village of Sharon Spring, The New York House is a luxurious B&B that will immediately feel like home – or the home you wish you had. Sharon Springs was a bustling society watering hole in the mid-19th century and the playground of Vanderbilts, Roosevelts and Rockefellers. The New York House is a Bed & Breakfast in... More

We visited the New York House bed and Breakfast with our friends this past weekend. What a nice experience! Our room was comfortable, the breakfasts tasty and innkeepers, Kelly and Bruce, were very friendly and did their best to make us feel at home and welcome. The town was interesting and we had fun discovering the rich history of Sharon... More

Very welcoming family owns this beautiful Bed and Breakfast in this quaint town. Owners are very generous and caring and pampered us with lavish breakfast including special treats for the kids. Beautifully done rooms. Easy access. Freshly baked cookies waiting for us every evening. We had a large family reunion there and they graciously accomodated some of the last minute... More

I have been to the New York House several times. Every visit was enjoyable. The rooms are clean , quiet and comfortable. The Buttons welcomed me like family . The breakfasts are delicious and there is always a nice variety. I would recommend the New York House to anyone visiting Sharon Springs.

We were in Sharon Springs for the Harvest Festival weekend and were thrilled with the warm hospitality, comfortable accommodations and delicious breakfast we received at the New York House. In addition, the proximity to "downtown" Sharon Springs was perfect.

My first experience at a Bed and Breakfast. It was the most wonderful nights sleep and the best breakfast ever. The Host and Hostess are kind and welcoming. They have set a very high standard for any future B & B I should stay at. Next visit already scheduled. A must try!!!

Kelly and Bruce are great hosts. Breakfast was wonderful. The New York is beautiful and a great piece of history to stay in. We are going back next year! It is very comfortable. There was plenty of space for my friends and I in a suite. Sharon springs is magical. We will continue to stay at the New York.
