stayed at the mansion due to a work conference and it was perfect, right off highway and so close to Schenectady NY. Banquet food was AMAZING and bar area was a huge hit for after work drinks. Friendly staff, clean rooms.

The river side rooms are the best. Comfortable and elegant. Book early as it is very popular around weddings season and events at Union College. Tavolo restaurant on premise is excellent and convenient.

Stayed 2 nights for a business meeting. Found this historic inn most interesting. The back terrace overlooking the Mohawk is most beautiful. The big comfortable lobby has a large fireplace which dominates the room. To the left is the little breakfast nook where basic continental breakfast is served. There is no coffee in guest rooms so you must get your... More

Bit pricy. I would have stayed at a local Hampton inn if it was not for the wedding. Breakfast was quasi continental. All in all it was very clean and comfortable. Staff seemed nice. If you are interested in ambiance this is a place for you. Us family people are a bit more value oriented :)

The rooms seem to be clean and modern. I had a nice view of the river from my room. The shower was a bit odd in that you had to reach in face first to turn it on and the blast of cold water certainly woke you up. On two nights of my stay there were parties going on and... More

My wife's niece was married here and the reception was held here. Generally, the venue was clean & enjoyable. The cocktail hour overlooked the river, and was very nice. Food was fine for this type of event, the staff were very nice, and all in all, it was quite enjoyable.

Disgusting inn that doesn't even merit any stars at all. AWFUL customer service, particularly Chris!! Dead bug on the ceiling. Ripped screen doors to let in even more bugs. Broken coffee pot in the morning so no coffee to accompany breakfast. Totally non-accomodating to guests. Beyond over-priced! Stay at the Hampton Inn down the road.

Sadly, this is not one of them. On the up side, the view from our room was WOW-inducing with the river, fountains and fire pit. Tony warmly welcomed us and we were pleased we could check in prior to 3:00 (even though we had been clearly told on the phone that was not a possibility). The complimentary breakfast in the... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to review our Inn. We are pleased that you enjoyed our complimentary breakfast and “wow-inducing” views overlooking the Mohawk River. We are happy we were able to accommodate your early check-in request and classical music request in the breakfast room. We always strive to accommodate special guest request whenever possible. We do... More

Lovely spot along the river, good food, excellent wait staff, band was good but very loud, When we wanted to talk, we had to leave the dining area and sit out in the lobby area. We did not stay here as we live close by. We were in one of the rooms to visit family. The room was very clean... More

We hosted a 90th birthday party for my mom at the Glen Sanders Mansion. The event planner, Laura, was a pleasure to deal with every step along the way. She was pleasant, reliable, and even made a few suggestions that greatly enhanced the party. The food (choice of salmon or bistro steak) was terrific, the setting overlooking the river beautiful,...
