Sadly, this is not one of them. On the up side, the view from our room was WOW-inducing with the river, fountains and fire pit. Tony warmly welcomed us and we were pleased we could check in prior to 3:00 (even though we had been clearly told on the phone that was not a possibility). The complimentary breakfast in the... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to review our Inn. We are pleased that you enjoyed our complimentary breakfast and “wow-inducing” views overlooking the Mohawk River. We are happy we were able to accommodate your early check-in request and classical music request in the breakfast room. We always strive to accommodate special guest request whenever possible. We do... More

Lovely spot along the river, good food, excellent wait staff, band was good but very loud, When we wanted to talk, we had to leave the dining area and sit out in the lobby area. We did not stay here as we live close by. We were in one of the rooms to visit family. The room was very clean... More

We hosted a 90th birthday party for my mom at the Glen Sanders Mansion. The event planner, Laura, was a pleasure to deal with every step along the way. She was pleasant, reliable, and even made a few suggestions that greatly enhanced the party. The food (choice of salmon or bistro steak) was terrific, the setting overlooking the river beautiful,... When visiting Schenectady this is the best hotel around. It's right outside of town and has wonderful friendly staff to help with anything you need. Some rooms still need updating but after they're all done, this will be completely perfect. The town is also a lot of fun with lots to do and all new restaurants and shops.

So lucky we happened to get off at this exit! Glen Sanders is a gem in the area. Our room was large, the staff was very nice, and the view from the balcony was lovely. It was very clean and full of natural light. Certainly get a room overlooking the Mohawk River- a perfect piece of serenity.

I just stayed at the Inn while traveling on business to the area. While the advertisements got me to stay there, the facility itself is pretty run down and i probably wouldn't go again. I travel a bit, am in hotels 50-60 nights a year and although the old style charm of a historic hotel is good for some, being... More

We stayed in the bridal suite and it was wonderful. Fantastic deck off of the room and very large. We were not apart of a wedding party just a romantic night so we had a lot of room for two people. Maria acknowledged our romantic night and left a wonderful surprise in our room after dinner (also fantastic). She is... More

I checked into The Inn around 11pm. The check in process was quick and efficient. I was here for a meeting being held at the Inn that didn't start until 1pm the next day, but no late checkout was available " since people coming Friday requested early check in." Not sure how the priority of late vs. early is decided,... More

This historic Hotel is an expansion of a mansion built in 1719. Located right on the banks of the Mohawk river, which makes a lovely setting for the rear patio. Better than average continental breakfast is included. I also received a $50.00 coupon towards a meal in the excellent Angelo's Tavolo Restaurant located on the premises. Easy access to the... More

We stayed here on Sept. 30th. The place was built in the 1800's and has been restored beautifully. The lobby is very pretty and bright with lots of windows overlooking Lake Mohawk and the pretty grounds. It hosts alot of weddings, there were 3 there that weekend. We ate at Tovolo's restaurant and it was excellent dining and atmosphere. My... More
