We arrived during the gray and rainy weather of late November to find Comfort Woods warm and cozy with lots of cheerful Mexican tile, smooth wood floors, lots of good books, a full open kitchen for gourmet cooking and of course everything was spotless. We made a great choice with the Comfort Woods Guesthouse. The house is very well kept, and super comfortable. I organized a weekend cycling tour of the Cooperstown area in September 2009 and seven of us stayed in this cozy guesthouse. The location is extremely quiet and rural. Our family really enjoyed our stay.,, The children loved to hike up to the waterfalls and sit in the water hole. There was so much room for them to play games and have a fire at night. Hope to be back in the future. more

The country setting of the house is wonderful. We loved the view and the deck was very enjoyable. The trails and waterfalls were beautiful. The kids loved it. We really enjoyed our stay. We are from a large city, so it took some acclimating to our new environment. We had 2 families share the place along with teen aged kids. Our sons were participating in the Cooperstown Dream Park. We entertained guests and they noticed the many amenities available. Thanks more

For a 4 bedroom house, this place is the best deal. It's about a 15 minute drive from parking lot to parking space in Cooperstown, but beautiful and scenic make the drive worth it.
