The hotel is very convenient when traveling in the Hunter, and WoodStock Area. The staff is not very friendly, in fact sometimes almost bordering on rude. The pool is small and very noisy and there seems to be little control. The rooms smell a bit old and musty and are a bit worn out. Do not eat at the restaurant.... more

We were a "walk-in" reservation and had a little trouble finding a room that wasn't too close to a noisy ice machine or to a neighboring room whose TV could be heard, because of a combination of thin walls and a between-room doors with a big gap between the doors and the floor. They advertise their pool and WiFi service, but the pool was closed for repairs over the New Year's weekend and I couldn't get the WiFi to work.
