We were very impressed by the Mansion and the knowledgeable staff. It is a beautiful place, wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy it some more. We will be back for a longer stay sometime in the near future.

This was our third time visiting the Batcheller Mansion and I have to say we were disappointed. I believe there has been a change in management and it shows. The biggest problem with our room was the bathroom, the water temperature kept changing for scalding hot to freezing cold and our towel rack fell off the wall. The first morning... More

Dear Stephidi, First I would like to thank you for staying with us again and offer you my deepest apologizes for a less than wonderful stay this time around. There has been a change in management and I am working very hard to improve every aspect of the Batcheller Mansion. I am sorry to hear that you do not feel... More

Some hotels one can recommend without reservation to anyone who is already travelling there. This is one. Rarely can you recommend that someone travel there to stay. Even if you were not planning to go to Saratoga Springs, go, just so you can stay here. This is a rare gem, a Victorian built to entertain Presidents and kings that has... More

We had our stay at the Batcheller Mansion for two nights during Labor Day. We of course went to the last day of the track meet and then we checked in. The proprietor was very lovely as we checked in. She showed us the entire mansion and gave us the history of the mansion as well. We booked the George... More

We recently stayed at the Batcheller Mansion Inn for a relaxing and very enjoyable time. We were greeted warmly and the friendly, attentive staff not only saw to it that we had wonderful stay but daily asked if there was anything else they could do or provide information about to make our stay in Saratoga Springs a great experience. The... More

I have stayed here several times before. This place is nothing short of amazing, very different from any other place you have stayed in. Staff is superb and very accomodating. Treat yourself to something truly special and stay at the mansion. I have stayed here many times with my wife and family as well as each year bringing members from... More

We stayed at the Inn for two nights on our way to Kennebunkport via Stowe, Vermont. On arrival we had a guided tour and brief history of the building which added another dimension to our stay. We booked the Amelia Le Saux room - not huge but more than adequate - with air conditioning and a bathroom linked by an... More

The Batcheller Mansion is a historic wonder, which does not show any signs of unnecessary or insensitive 'modernization' that would compromise the integrity of its design and layout. Woodwork and built-ins are mostly original and simply stunning. Furnishings, some of which belonged to the family that built the place, are splendid examples of pieces crafted for the grand residences of... More

The Batcheller Mansion is, architecturally, a late 19th Century curiosity -- part Victorian, part Moorish -- that has been marvelously restored. Step inside and you are transported back 100 years. A very comfortable B&B, with excellent staff (shout-outs to Chelsea, Nicky and Alice), breakfasts that ready you for the day, and bedrooms that are comfortable and quiet. Just a few... More
