The problems at this motel started as soon as we got there. When my group and I checked into our rooms, we quickly realized that the shower had no hot water. We wondered if this was just a temporary problem, so we came back later that night to find that there was still not any hot water. We took cold... More

The air conditioning unit was discusting, I pulled out the filter only to find the unit beyond belief. Sinus infections for all. Otherwise the room was fair. We would not have stayed, buty father would only stay at the cheapest place.

As soon as I opened the door, the smell of mold and mildew hit me like a brick and I immediately felt my throat closing. Went back to the front desk, asked for a refund and got out of there like a bat out of hell.

I was a little skittish about staying here after seeing some of the reviews, but decided to give it a shot. Definitely not as bad as some of the reviews said! I was greeted at the door by a pleasant man who asked me if I was checking in, had a reservation, etc. Since I am not from the area,... More

OK, I get it that Saratoga in August is going to be expensive, so when you try to get a room a couple of days in advance you might have to pay $270 (tax included) to get one. But in 2014 you expect to get more for the money. We got a return to the 1950's: no free breakfast, hair... More

The smell when we opened the door punched you in the face so hard that you actually fall backwards. Dirty moist carpet. We booked and payed for a parlor suite which they did not have open. They insisted on not refunding the difference between the rooms. The man at the disk actually said " complain to expedia my boss wont... More

After we booked the Grand Union with friends I read the reviews and definitely was apprehensive but what a surprise when we went to our room, it was very clean and very big! The staff was friendly and the pool was very nice. Some of our friends did get back rooms that were not as nice as ours and they... More

I stayed here with friends during racing season. I was in the Saratoga Room, right off from the lobby and we all agreed it was the nicest of the 3 rooms we booked. My room was a nice size, a walk-in closet with a good size fridge and a good size bathroom. It was pretty clean. Some cobwebs and dust.... More

Tell people not to come to this facility. Reminds me of Bates Motel!!!! Management has no idea how to run a previous well run business. It's a sham that a well know Motel has now I heritages a lack luster owner/manager.
