We have been going to Cochran's for 20 years, and look forward to getting back there every summer. The cabins are clean, well equipped and located in a wooded area with a dock on Kiwassa Inlet. We canoe, fish, bird watch, and enjoy the Perseid Meteor Shower at night. If you love the outdoors, this is the place for you. You... More

Let me start by saying having lived in Saranac Lake NY that I know what the true Adirondack experience is and can be. No doubt Cochran's Cabins takes my hi-5 for friendly and comfy accommodations. Been there and are repeat customers of Margie and Cliff's since 1996.I like to kinda rough it so if you do too check them out.... More

For the past eight years a group of us have rented Camp MaryAnne (Cochran Cabins) during the fall season. Our rustic cabin was situated in a lovely forest setting next to the water with a dock and was conveniently located a short distance from the town of Saranac Lake. We enjoyed the screened-in porch and found the appliances/cookware in the... More

We have stayed at Cochran's many times and have always had a great experience. The cabins are clean and tidy with everything you need for a true Adirondack experience. The Cochrans are very accommodating to your needs and welcome pets. This was important to us as we like to include our dogs in our family getaways. Cabins are child friendly... More

This was our first year at Camp Jenny – and we immediately rebooked for the following year. Marjorie runs a very tight ship for you US Navy veterans out there. The cabin was presented as clean and spacious containing all items that were necessary to cook for and house my family for two weeks away from our home in San... More

These cabins are right on the water (most of them anyhow), and the setting and location is perfect. It really is beautiful up there. The setting is very relaxing. And it's a really good base to exploring the lakes in the area from. We stayed at Camp George, and the little dock was perfect to kayak in and out of.... More

Thank you so much for your kind words about our location and setting. We are glad you got to enjoy kayaking while you were here. It's a great place to do so. We are extremely surprised and very sorry to hear that you didn't find the bed comfortable or the cabin clean. On both accounts, we pride ourselves in meeting... More

My husband, sister, brother-in-law, and I had a great long weekend here! We stayed at Camp George and found it cozy (loved the wood-burning stove) and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing weekend in the woods. The lake outlet provided a beautiful view, the well-stoked kitchen allowed us to cook some great meals (Lake Saranac and Lake Placid were both an... More

We've been staying there for years, always in late September after school starts when the crowds are gone. Often, we feel like we're the only guests because it's so quiet and peaceful. Even our dog enjoys herself by playing in the water a few dozen feet away, removing the extra sticks and stones that have accumulated in the lake. September... More

In a word, Cochran's Cabins is paradise. I love the Adirondac Mountains and have never found a better place to stay in the Saranac Lakes area. So peaceful, quiet, friendly, and bountiful with wildlife all around. My cabin was clean, warm and much more spacious than I had anticipated. The living area, for us so often, the screened porch and... More

we stayed a whole week with our 2 very busy kids, staying at Camp Victor, with its own porch, sight on the water, making the experience of a very authentic wood cabin with all the comfort. It seems you don't have any neighbours. The Cochrans are very nice, warm people and the kids were always welcome. Breakfast is just unforgettable,... More
