This was all that we were looking for and more! Charlie and Aggy were extremely personable, helpful, and welcoming. Their Inn felt like home!! Their 1790 farmhouse, a lovely historical spot in the country, is easily accessible to Saratoga Springs and Lake Champlain. It is also situated in a lovely, rural area of eastern NY state, and we enjoyed exploring... More

We stayed with Charlie and Aggy while visiting relatives in the Salem area. They were excellent hosts and the house is very authentic, comfortable and interesting. We stayed in the Rosenquist Room which was on the second floor and has a comfortable king size bed. If you stay in that room, be sure to ask about the painting above the... More

Step back in time with an overnight stay at Hopkins House Farm B and B. Charlie and Aggie offer you a clean, comfortable bed and delicious breakfast in their authentic 1790 farm. We stayed here this past weekend and couldn't have been more delighted with our room and meal. Charlie is an excellent cook and host, even roasting and grinding... More

My wife and I and a friend stayed at the Hopkins House Farm B&B over the 7/4/15 weekend. The food and the company of Charlie and Aggy were wonderful - they are delightful people. Great hospitality, conversation,, and accommodations in a 1790 home - my wife and I got to sleep in a king size bed. A TV in a... More

What a delightful, welcoming place to spend the weekend! Comfy big bed, beautiful bathrooms, incredible breakfast, and the inn-keepers make you feel like you are relaxing in a good friend's home. The other guests were also very considerate and interesting to talk to at breakfast. Can't wait to go back!

The Hopkins House has it all. Period rooms, history, atmosphere, comfort, farm. Kind and generous innkeepers. Restful. Peaceful. Refreshing. Highly recommend. Seriously beautiful place. Charlie gave us a tour, fed us grandly, introduced us to donkeys, recommended dinner, befriended us like an ideal innkeeper and friend. Aggie was ever-loving to our big dog. Can't wait to go back again for... More

Charlie and Aggy are the best kind of hosts. The "we'll leave the light on for you" kind. The "how many kinds of breakfast is too many?" kind. The "which room would you like to stay in, you had mentioned this one but you're welcome to check out the others when you arrive" kind. They make visiting Hopkins House feel... More

We loved this place. The hosts were gracious, genuine, interesting and accomodating. This is not your usual place for an overnight. The house is beautifully decorated and clearly loved and cared for. Nothing was spared in making this older farmhouse not only a thing of beauty but also updated in a way that makes it luxurious. Breakfast was homemade and... More

My family and I recently took a 3 night 4 day bicycle tour of the Lake George/ Washington County region. Hopkins House Farm was our last stop and definitely our favorite. After biking by so many old farmhouses, it was great to see the inside of an authentic and carefully restored farm. Charlie and Aggie were wonderful hosts. From the... More

Charlie and Aggy DuVeen are the perfect hosts for this little treasure nestled just six miles north of underrated local beauty Salem on scenic Rt. 22. Some of the friendliest, warmest company me, my wife, or my two little girls have ever had...not to mention the short clip to the Green Mts., the amazing French toast (or bacon and eggs,... More
