This hotel is an excellent place to stay in the hamptons. I have stayed in comparably priced hotels in the hamptons, and the rooms at the Baron's Cove Inn were much larger than I expected. We were happy to find 2 levels in the room, with one double bed and one single bed on each level. There was plenty of... more

This is an affordable and available place to stay in the Hamptons. If you are looking for 4 Seasons, this is not for you. It's a place to crash for a night or two, and I found the cleanliness to be tolerable. Certainly wasn't the best, but if you are looking for a place to stay for a night or... more

Not only was there constant construction going on next door, the first night there, we were asked to move our car as they had to dig up the property RIGHT IN FRONT OF OUR ROOM due to a "water issue". There were workers out in front of our room early each morning the whole week. The front desk refused to... more

I am a hotel snob, let's just start by saying that. But to be able to stay in the Hamptons, during August with three kids for $220 a night, this is a good deal. The hotel is is bad shape, the pillows are horrible, etc. but with small kids it is fine. The loft is perfect for a family and... more

This place is a friggin JOKE! I was appalled at the condition and quality of this hotel, especially given the outrageous prices they charge. The rooms are atrocious! The tennis court is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Even the location sucks. Despite being close to town I had to listen to construction across the street every morning/day. This place rapes... more

The only thing going for this place is that It is in a great location but everything else about it is bad. It is old and in desperate need of a major overhaul. The bath mat was moldy and the room smelled. The comforter for the bed was ancient. It was worn out and looked really bad. If you need... more

RUN! Don't stay at this overpriced dump! For almost $200 nite we got a dark, dreary, dirty, dingy, moldy smelling room - that the staff never cleaned or freshened up even once during our 2 night stay. Cruddy old rug, dusty old curtains. Quilts & bed linens, long since needing replacement. Slider screen barely slides, patio tacky w/ mismatched furniture.... more

Writing this to help my fellow travellers. If you are looking for a clean, fairly up-to-date, reasonable place to lay your head in Sag Harbor, run to something else; this is NOT it! I don't know what happened to this place, as I had stayed there in the past (about 5 years ago) and had multiple great experiences, but the... more

We would have been satisfied with a comfortable room in a place that was accurately represented by their website. Instead it was clear that the photographer had the talent to hide the blemishes and wrinkles. What we found was the equivalent of a cut-rate motel off Route 66, where a cross country trucker needed no more than to sleep for... more

We choose Barons Cove Inn for a girls weekend getaway and were very pleased with the accomidations. We had three rooms between us and all were clean although the decor was a little dated. All rooms had a fridge and microwave which was great for storing our in room beverages. One of the rooms was a loft with a balcony... more
