we went to blackhead mountain lodge in October to view the fall foliage. the lodge seems nice until we got into the rooms. i have a habit of checking the sheets and these were dirty. they hadn't been changed. the bathroom was worse with feaces on the toilet seat. we asked for a room change but the sheets were also... more
We stayed at this family owned golf resort on the weekend of September 29th. We had a fabulous experience. The golf course is somewhat difficult, but the scenery is beyond words. i went with a group for golf and lodging at the blackhead resort. The golf course was great and they had a nice rustic barn tavern conveniently located with friendly and helpful staff. the rooms were located in a 7 room chalet that was very outdated with old paneled walls, decor and carpeting with a mothball odor.
